Its a wave line of balls that ebonit that came out in the late 90's around 1997-1999 and to this day i belive that it is on the greatest lines of balls that has ever came out. The reasons is that the weight blocks and all that crazy stuff that they are doing to them now is not worth a damn. The simplier the better because you have a better idea what it's going to do and the surface of the balls have all this funky particle and other stuuf that company's have put in them. So if you can find a wave ball anywhere buy it and you will see that, They don't make them like they use to.

I've had this ball for a while and it still impesses me. The 1998 ballguide pegged this ball as the most versatile of the wave line and they were right. I used this ball in box condition for a couple of months before i got a little tired of throwing it hard to get it to the breakpoint. A 1500 grit polish gave me much more length and a much flippier backend. This ball works from almost anywhere on the lane as long as you've got enough oil but when the heads start to go and 3-10 and 6-10 leaves start popping up it's time to put it away. The surface it has on it now is a little bit different again. I sanded the ball to 800 grit the threw the polish over it leaving the sand lines on the ball. This finish is a little speed sensitve but gives the ball a little more midlane and less flip. I prefer the highly polished surface and will be getting that done again soon.
