Another cheap ball from E-bay. Drilled 5X5. I have a high track and put alot of hand in ball. Get really good length. I bought this ball and a Game time at the same time. Put same drilling in both. I found that I can set up a shot for this ball by using the Gametime for about 5-6 frames. Then I can play the Show time the rest of the set. I only have to move 2-3 boards left during the set. Very fun two ball combo. I haven't thrown Ebonite for many years and thought I would re-visit. Overall, I made good decision. Will probably look at some more balls from Ebonite because of this ball.

Ball specs - Pin over bridge, 12:00 in relation to CG, approx. 5 1/2" from PAP. Top weight 3.2 oz. It works real well as a 3rd or 4th arrow shot, out to 10. Needs some oil in the middle to make that shot work. Can bank it off the ditch. Rarely leaves 10 pins, but will leave quite a few 9s. Crankers will like this ball for normal house shots, especially when playing inside lines. Strokers will like this ball on the same house shot, but playing closer to the dry. Good ball to have in one's arsenal.

After contacting the (Ebonite/ Hammer manufactures via e-mail) to voice my concerns the representative responded through e-mail and suggested I purchase yet a different ball at for a additional ($225.00 dollars Pro Shop Cost) and let him know if that ball reacted better. The ball went down the alley and reacted like a rock. The ball was to go long but have a big backend. That was a bunch of bull. The alleys are not long enough for this ball to react. Save your money look at a different manufacture. This ball is not a good choice for any that would like to throw a curve or hook. It might be ok for a bowler that throws a straight ball.

I would think that this ball would be good for a slower speed player who is looking for a ball to get down the lane and then drive through the pocket. With a little surface work the ball does react well. Have not had a chance to try the ball on heavy oil, but would think that the ball would not react well on that type of shot. The ball i am throwing has a 4 and a half inch pin and the ball is drill as a stack drilling. My ball track with this drilling did move down from the finger holes an inch or so and the ball flares well for my slower ball speed.
