My significant other is teaching me how to bowl and he chose this one for me to start with. It's a 15lb ball, fingertip, and set up to turn on the backend. It's a pretty consistent ball and is holding up well in league play. I would recommend this to any one who is just starting to learn how to bowl. It would work well on drier lanes but I would not recommend this ball for heavy oil as it does not carry well. If you can find one I would say it would be worth the purchase.
