The least flare in the Stinger lineup still delivers a big payoff on the scoreboard. Wrapped in pearlized Detonator Plus reactive resin, the 2-Pc. Low Flare's small elliptical core provides controlled power on drier lane conditions that is sure to be a favorite among bowlers with slower ball speeds or high revs on "burnt" lane conditions. throw rather slow - between 10 and 11 mph. I had the ball drilled LABEL LEVERAGE (fig. 1 on drilling instructions), so it would take longer to go into a roll. MAN I REALLY LIKE THE SNAP when it turns left. This ball is AWESOME for hitting power. I paid a lot more than on-line, here, but I think it's worth it. This is the FIRST Reactive Resin ball I've owned. My past balls were almost exclusively Columbia made. I've had the VECTOR II, Wine U-dot, Yellow Bleeder and a blurb in my style a STAR TRAK X-15 Blue. The STINGER ball hits so much harder than the other balls I've owned. I've picked up my average 15 pins since purchase (4 weeks ago). This ball has changed my opinion of other manufacturers' - other than Columbia. I bowl in a house with old lanes with medium to light oil. The oil is so sporadic and inconsistant but the Stinger just remains consistent. I've only had to move my feet 1 board as the lanes change and we are the 3rd league to bowl on Friday nights. If you ar

This bowling ball may have a small back end relative to the length the ball skids. But let me tell you the 3.8 rating for backend is misleading. This ball really turns hard at the break point. But also if you kill your hand this ball will tend to not hook hardly at all even on dry lanes. So this ball can be used on lots of lane conditions but you have to throw it perfect. It's not a very forgiving ball. You crank it and it cranks hard. If you put hardly any spin on it then it will be flat.

I used to only use Track equipment..but since they have went to the mega hook area.. I dont need help with hook. My local proshop favorite wanted me to try ebonite. So this was a good start and I must say I like it alot. It is a good ball...give one a shot..It is inexpensive and worth the money. The surface is easy to adjust..and cleans very easily. The roll on the ball with different hand positions is awesome. Fairly even and then picks up a hard roll at the pins. The lighter the hit the better the carry!!

I bought this ball for the extremely dry conditions I see at colligiate tournaments. I had the ball drilled up for a very mild reaction. This is not a dry lane ball at all. I bought a Savage Flip (love it) and my stinger was almost hooking as much. So I added a weight hole to tone it down even more, and the ball is useless. It hooks early and hits like a wet sponge. I even tried polishing the ball to 2000 and it still hooks. If you put any amount of hand in the ball, invest in something else for a burnt up shot.

Ball Specs Drilled pin above bridge and CG kicked out towards PAP. roughly 5.5 x 5, ,pin above bridge Surface has not been altered My Specs Lefty Tweener/ Power Stroker Normal Qubica Speed - 17/19 Revs - med high - high PAP - 5 3/4 over 1/4 up Tested Conditions Condition A: Standard Xmas Tree oiled to 36 ft Condition B: Standard Wet/Dry 10-10 oiled to 40ft Condition C: Inverted pattern, 40 feet General Information I would not consider this ball a 'dryer' lane ball as mentioned. It does get through the heads quite well but snaps HARD at the first sight of dry. Condition A Tried to play an outside line initially but due to this type of pattern the breakpoint was too early. After that I moved in and played more around 4th arrow out and the ball worked wonders from that angle. It hits VERY hard and rolls a little bit later in comparison to most other Ebonite products. I really enjoy this ball on this pattern when up the boards with urethane does not work and an insi

overall this ball works well for me on any given condition. i found that i needed to refinish the ball after about 15-17 games, because it would fail to react the same way if i waited any longer. on squirrly conditions, the ball tends to burn itself out and doesnt have much on it when it reaches the pocket, which will leave you with some strange leaves. i would hit dead pocket and find myself with an 8-10, 5-7 or any other split combination imaginable. i could make the ball go long or arc depending on the speed of my shot. i really liked how easy it was to throw.

I would recommend this ball to any bowler who throws slow,or needs a good pick-up ball.I could nail the ten pin EVERY time with this little dude.Always carried well, and very predictable.Comes back late and hard when thrown rite, comes back(if at all) soft and with no carry if thrown bad,but I guess that's probebly any ball.Still brought my average up 30 pins, and hope to see more.Would soke up alot of oil,so I would recommend leaving this little dude out in the sun in a car with the windows up for a day. Then wipe off secreting oil,and it will be soaked. This works well.

In retrospect, this ball has to be my favorite, because it can do so much. I bought it thinking it was going to be my dry-lane ball, but this is definately a ball to use as they're breaking down, but not when the shot's burnt. If I slow it down, it'll break as much as some of my mid-performance balls (like Storm's Trauma or X-It), but normally it works best if you swing it when the shot's drying out, and it'll snap back like a beast. And for as much as it hooks, its not that hard to control.... its all about timing. If you find the right timing for the lanes, this ball is money.

this ball is truely amazing. i threw it once because the lanes were extremly dry and lots of carry down and since my friend had inserts and mine are tipped my hands were hurting after the first 6 games. i fell in love with the ball and went out and bought one as soon as i had some spare change. since the ball is so cheap. i can really control it. i cant wait till PJBT tournaments start again its really going to help in those step ladder finals sealing the victories on those burnt out lanes. So if you want a ball when you go deep into the field this is the ball for you.

i'm sure on the right lanes with the right person throwing it this could be an awsome ball but i just can seem to find it with the "low flare" it seems to be to jumpy for me and it not very forgiving if you miss your mark you pay with something pretty ugly. i have bowling a few good games with it but it feel like a fight the whole time never like i was in control! it has some good points to like hitting power. if you get it there it will do the rest and price this ball has a cheap price compared to some and and could be a great ball for the right person

Bowled 5 games straight with ball and never had to change my mark. just had to adjust speed slightly. you can throw this ball way outside and think utoh i'm screwed and then boom it snaps back faster than a yo-yo right in the pocket. hate to say it but this ball made my hammer blade useless for the night. put the pin directly underneath ring finger and watch the show, this ball is totally awesome and for money damn you can't go wrong! Now on the fifth game i did start leaving a streak of 10 pins, but that could have just been me cause it was midnight and already had 4 pitchers of beer lol :)

A really good ball at a really low price. Hits hard, sometimes too hard, really easy to control when there's oil, perfect for carry down. Hooks a bit too early for dry lanes. Really sharp brakepoint angle, sends head pin flying left to right right to left. Ball must be cleaned all the time. Absorbs oil fast. Mine is almost useless now cause I didn't really bother to clean it. "Ive learned my lesson" DO NOT use ball in old bowling centres, if scratched it will look like a old, cheap, house ball. Im a high rev bowler and find this ball amazing but many balls are better then this. (but cost $100 more)

when it hits the pocket, everything goes down. i don't care what people say. this ball can be used anywhere you want. i bowled at 2 different places. one dry and one oily. and it worked on both houses. just stack this ball and let it rip. it goes long and hooks. this ball will hook right out of the box. this ball is perfect for anyone. this is my go to ball. and if you get it, it will be yours too. and there are making me right more then i want to. so get this ball and go out and bowl. because bowling rocks
