The Pantera will be your choice to go hunting through that thick, heavily oiled jungle. I linked the most strikesin a row with this ball nine and then threw one in the gutter in the tenth frame OUCH! Almost threw my first 300 with this ball. It seems to be a lucky ball for me everytime i touch the ball I shoot something high. I have only been bowling for nine months and have bowled multiple 650+ series blew a 700 series with a 145 game OUCH again. Right now I am just to obsessed with bowling and love it way to much to quit now, I will bowl until my legs fall off LOL.....

I was bowlling on synthetic lanes with a good amount of juice inside with an out of bounds around 5. Started out playing 17 out to 10 and had a nice reaction to the pocket. Then just to see if she was versitle I moved straight up 8 flattened out my wrist gave her a little fingers and down and in looked just as nice. When and if lane conditions dry up you can move deep with this ball for a bit. but will start to over react alot All I know is I was given great reviews about this ball and I know that I made the right choice.

this ball is great on medium to heavy oil. i am using a 15# ball, drilled label laverage. i have slow hand speed. but this ball works for me. i have been using this ball 6 games a week. and my average has gone up by 10 pins.there is only 2 bad remarks i can make about this ball. one is that it will get away from me every once in a while. and the second one is it will not work on dry to medium lanes. it is well worth the $120. that i spent on it. i would recomend this ball to anyone..

this ball is drilled with the cg below the ring finger and pin above and alittle to the right of the ring finger. the ball has a consistent reaction, rolls at the mid lane then break and continues to the pocket to pounce on it. the ball is even arcing but will roll out in dry if you put alot of forward roll on the ball. this ball works great on oil and medium and can keep the same line with little to no movement. the ball does tend to suck up the oil so be sure to clean it like any other heavy oil ball. *see my porfile for my style of bowling

I've only had this ball for 3 weeks now, but I have to give the Predator a big 2 thumbs up! They may have given it the wrong name. I think it should have been called the Thermo-nuclear Device. Because when this thing goes off, nothing is left standing. This is my favorite ball as of yet, for med. to heavy oil. When the lanes dry out, you'd be better off to put it away and go to something that handles the dryer conditions. This is one terrific ball for the money, can it be beat for value? I don't think so. Ebontie has created a winner in my opinion.

I have had this ball for more than a year. It is drilled with the pin at 7:30 in Full-Roller Ebonite Drill Spec #11. I found that this ball in box condition was too strong for me on normal house shots so I had it polished and that has given it a little more length and energy at the pocket especially since I throw slower and do not swing the ball much. This is a very strong ball and it keeps the pins low. The surface is very tweakable. This is a great ball for the money and very versatile. I don't recommend it for long flat patterns or dry lanes, but it is very solid on medium to medium heavy lanes.

This is my best ball yet, Breaks with power that knocks them flat time after time. had it in the cupboard for a while, drilled it to the recommended option 2 in manual. i have been alot more consistant with it, averaging about 5 or 6 strikes a game with it. it works well in the heavier oil. i also use a afterburner and was finding it tough to get the backend i needed to drive thro the pocket, but now with the pantera its all comming together. and look at its price, well worth it, go out and buy one now!

Very predictable , hit the pocket very smoothly. I used to throw pearlized balls before , so I still had to learn how to adjust to the reaction this ball would have. My scores where 198.188 and 166 (missed the 9° and 10° game) resulting in a 552 series. Considering the fact that this was only the 1 time I threw this ball , it opens alot of perspectives! I hope to average with this ball at about 185 at the end of the season (1-7-02). I used it in competition last friday. I couldn't use my Jackhammer pearl because it has to be refined a bit , so I had to throw the Pantera for 3 games. The first game , on fresh oil , I shot 198 very easily. The next 2 games , the lanes were already very dry. Result : an embarassing 118 and 144. I shot the following scores on oily lanes : 188,198,198 On dry lanes : 166,118,144,149 If this doesn't convince you .... Conclusion : fantastic ball when there's a bit of oil , put away when the lanes dry out. Have fun!

This inexpensive ebonite product does trick on the lane. This is the closest ball I've found to the pro xs1. Recovers on any condition and hits like a tank. This ball is one of the cheapest hookers out there. Its dark in color for you guys who like to see ball reaction. Pull this one out if you want to read the lanes. Not the greatest on dry but if your not timid throw it to the ditch and see if it comes back. This is a very strong arcy ball has a great roll to the pocket. If you need hook here it is if you got hook this one is great if you can catch a little head oil. I drilled mine with pin 5" for axis cg/mb kicked in the track for a little negative side seem to somthen out the backends. I love this ball it won't disappoint you either . Capt. Trplx Son of Jor-El

The pantera is the best ball I have ever had. On anything other than a flood it will hook. If the lanes are on the drier side just polish. It is too strong for really dry heads. In that condition you should use a weaker pearl ball. The pantera would just hook too early. The carry is excellent . The only negative thing I have to say about the ball has to deal with carrydown. On that condition it just doesn't finish or carry. I drilled my 16lb pantera stacked leverage.Great ball for the money.I love it. I love it . I love it.
