Snuffy, an Optyx ball, if perfect for any bowler's spare ball... It's a good ball for anybody now that I think about it. Stays straight as an arrow on oil, no matter the amount of hook you put on the ball... Heck, if you are like me, and sometimes bowl on excessively dry wood lanes... This ball actually doubles as a strike ball, with a consistent ,smooth arc. No backend, but heck, it's plastic! The only hook I could find though was on really dry stuff, so if you are looking for a spare ball... I would have to recommend Snuffy... As an added bonus, this ball is also a great conversation piece... What more can you ask for?!?

You see if you throw Snuffy like your strike ball it is easy to see what your doing wrong. This makes Snuffy a dual-purpose ball and a frequent flyer in my triple roller. One thing I really love about this ball is how nice it takes a polishing. A few minutes on the ball spinner and he shines like new the cover is hard clear and durable. Several Ebonite bowlers have Snuffy as their spare ball. I figure it this way they could use any plastic ball but they choose Snuffy Why? Well Snuffy is cool he is friendly and is always there to give you a boost when you miss those strikes. Snuffy never frowns when you loose your cool or when you use another ball. Snuffy is likely one of the best things to happen to bowling since the automatic pinsetter. Snuffy had a relatively short run and eb
