The ball works great if the heads are there. I had to shine the ball... the box condition is simply too strong for the lanes in Hawaii. On long oil, ball goes pretty straight... on shorter patterns, you can swing coast-to-coast. Ball drilled A up with cg-in (D). Overall, the ball is good for someone looking for a ball to give them a little more back-end where more aggressive coverstocks are bleeding too much energy to get down the lane on heavier oil patterns. If you are able to find one of these balls still undrilled, buy it. With the information that drillers have today, this Ebonite Superball can finally have a _USEFUL_ spot in your bag.

I've finally got the thumb fixed up(only took 11 months!)so it's time for another review. Now that this ball fits i can see why i wanted one of these for so long. The ball motion i got in my first practice session with it last week was different to any ball i'd ever owned. I got early roll through the pines and a strong continous arc from the breakpoint to the pins. I'd only got early roll like this in the past from pin on PAP drillings and urethane balls, now i can get that early roll along with strong backend. I found out from looking at the drillsheet that the E at12.00 with the pin kicked 2 inches out was the earliest rolling layout on the sheet( they're damn right too!) It took me a few shots to work out i had to find a breakpoint a little earlier and further right than i'm used to playing with most of my other equipment. The continuous backend move makes for some interesting pin carry too with light hits slashing the pins sideways and one high hit still digging out a stubborn 4
