I used this ball mostly for Fresh Sport conditions. Usually the longer ones such as the Shark, Scorpion, TOC pattern, Longer tournament patterns in general. I laid this ball out pin under the ring finger to create some solid arc into my arsenal, I had long lacked a ball that was strong and for heavy oil. So I picked one up at Kegel Training Center during a seminar, and It rolls very strong. I found myself able to open up patterns and break them down very consistently with this ball, and if I needed a heavy hitter on the long pattern at JOG, this ball is definitely it. On the scorpion, I found that I can play up 4 at the arrows, and 6 at the breakpoint without sacrificing ball motion or speed. In the only other instance I used this ball for a sport condition, It was the cheetah. But with the strong cover and layout, I was able to play out from the arrows at 12 to the gutter(2,3 board) with consistent and strong results. Overall, I think this ball is a great buy for someone who is

Got this ball to be used on heavier volumes of oil. I previously purchased the Storm T-road solid but that ball just wouldn't cut it. I had this ball drilled with the pin above and tested it on a fresh oil pattern .In my house, the condition is never the same so sometimes I'll face heavy oil but most of the time I face lighter conditions. Well all's I can say is WoW!!. This ball is the biggest hooker I've ever thrown and cut's through anything. Also once it hits the pins, this ball keeps pins low and hits like a truck. I was searching for the successor to my all time favorite ball the Phenom unleashed and this ball is definitely it. I would recommend this ball to anyone who needs a ball for heavier oil and you definitely get the biggest bang for your buck!!

I had to change the factory finish so it would fit my game. the Surface chart that came on the drill sheet is Great. I took it from 2000 abralon factory finish to 1000 abralon, The ball became so much more versitile for my game and it was alot more controlable. By changing the surface i took the over-under variable out. Overall I would recomend this ball to anyone as a must have!!!!!!!!! I think that I will even order another and drill it stronger for Heavy oil. My current one is drilled week, since my house has very strong back ends.<sc

This ball is great. I got it from a friend who didnt like it. Pin in ring finger with CG somewhat kicked out. Ball is very predictable, really sizes up the pocket well. Took it to State in Westland, MI. Im not an up the boards player, but I could with this. Shot a 685 with games of 260, 240, 225. That was over a 9 game span. It is condition specific when it comes to the type of lane its thrown on. Older Synthetics, doesnt like it. Wood and Newer Synthetics....WOW! Its like my No Mercy, but with more power.

i'm no genius with drillings, but mine is drilled with the cg in my palm, 3 inch pin with my ring finger drilled into the pin. should win ball of the year. best ball for the money hands down. performs better than almost any heavy oil ball i've seen or thrown. if the outsides are flyin, playing around 18 is not a problem. if they're slick, playing 8-10 will be great too. reacts well to surface changes. factory finish will produce more hook than polished, and is better for fresh shots, especialy if it's a flat pattern. i like it more polished because it flies through the heads and midlane and takes a right turn and destroys the pocket. great great ball in a variety of situations.

This is a great ball. I have drilled 2 balls. First ball is 2in pin from axis, tons of pos weight, 45deg mb. this ball is extremely early, strong arcing and smooth. this ball loves heavy oil out of box condition. any altering to the surface will create a ball great for med to dry if you have good ball speed or like to play in the middle of the lane. The second ball was an expariment. 7 1/2 in pin from axis (right in the middle of my true track) this ball was a blem so it came with a 6 inch pin and 2 oz of top. I put the cg an inch from my pap. This ball is extremly agressive on the backend. its is weird though, the ball has no skid/snap characteristics. once it hits friction it turns left and is STRONG AND SMOOTH not snappy. This ball is easily 8-10 boards stonger on the back end due to the long pin.

I have thrown this ball for awhile now and I only use it at one house due to the shot they lay down. It's not a bad ball. It makes a strong move to the pocket but I do seem to leave some fast 8's from time to time and some ringing 10's. I have it drilled to roll early. Overall it is not a bad ball. I was looking for a solid coverstock ball and it nicely fit the bill. I would like to throw this ball on some heavier oil to see how it reacts but most of the house shots around here are short and light.

The Gamebreaker is a great buy if you're looking for a versatile ball. I play the outside line with it and it shreds the rack with great regularity. It can be used in medium and heavy oil, but ittends to hook too early and too much on lighter conditions. I'm more of a finesse bowler, and it's extremely easy to read and control. I don't have much luck with it playing up the middle, but thats a weak part of my game anyway. I'd recommend buying it, especially since it's cheap. Great bang for your buck.

The GAMEBREAKER is everything I had hoped that the original V2 was going to be. Clean through the heads ( especially after the polish was added ), one of the smoothest midlane transitions I have EVER seen, and the predictable motion it has on the backends. This ball is set up for me with a 3 X 3 drilling. I got it used and left it as it was with only minor adjustments ( grips and re-size thumbslug ). Ball was in box finish and just didn't seem to "pop" much at the pindeck. Thought that was probably due to the dull finish and the low RG rating. After a bit of polish and an adjustment of the sideweight ( had 7/8 oz and I took it down to 9/16 oz with a flare reducing X-hole), it really seemed to come to life. Length was much better. Roll was more stable and predictable, got through the heads much truer, and the carry ratio went up from around 40% to around 75%. The polish and flare reduction X-hole probably helped a lot with energy conservation until it reached the pindeck.

Don't be fooled into thinking all high performance ball are strong and mid price balls are for beginners. This ball, though considered mid performance, has more total hook than any Ebonite ball I've seen - we are talking raw hook off of your hand, not the "all backend hook" you see with asymetrical cores, but the pure arc all the way down the lane! This ball needs oil to get there, but when it does, pins explode. Crankers may suffer from the early power this ball displays and strokers will have to leave thier comfort zone and play more inside to ride the oil all the way to the hole. This ball will check up at the arrows if your outside five. Carry is excellent and this ball is a true value striker that will put more money into your pocket than you have to shell out for it!

I got this ball drilled with the pin under the ring finger, and the cg swung out. This ball gives me an amazing read on longer patterns, and pretty much anything with heavier oil. Probably one of the Strongest ball in the mid-lane, with a ton of recovery, that I have ever thrown. I can use this ball when the carry down hits, when it's fresh, whenever, as long as their is enough oil to get the ball to the right part of the lane. - 44 "soup" shot (Sport) - I was able to play inside, from about 31 to a breakpoint at about 13/14 with great success. - 40 foot medium - I was able to play the track area with even more success, lay down around 18, to the breakpoint 4/5/6. Great recovery , and even better hitting power. As for this ball it's not the strongest ball I have ever thrown, but it is definitely up their for the price range. The only ball that I have more hook potential with is the Threshold, albeit in the mid-lane, not on the back end.

I purchased this ball to fit in between my T Road Pearl and my Hammer Anger. It does just that. It goes longer than my Anger and much earlier than my T Road Pearl. Don't know why I stayed away from Ebonite for so long but I had some of my best games with my Ebonite Big Time. The only thing is that the Big Time soaked up tons of oil. I hope that the Gamebreaker is a lot more durable than the Big Time was for me. The Gamebreaker seems to be very versatile but it absolutely needs oil otherwise don't even waste your money on this ball. It needs oil, needs it.

This ball is drilled 5" from my PAP with pin above fingers and in center line. decreese flare hole on val. I bought this ball do replace one of my well used Action. My action had alot of games on it and drilled the same way. polished up to. that ball was very good when the lanes were wery dry. it still went long with great recovery. or playing up the boards on a fresh medium oil. This ball reminds me alot of the action. both out of box and polished up. this ball is overall 2 boards stronger then my old action but also alot lesser used. same type of reaction. lenght my medium arc at the break point

Only threw this ball about 2-3games because i tried it at a ebonite demo day. Don't be fooled by its price. This ball could be a starter in the line-up. the Gamebreaker hooks a ton. Its more for a hard throwing bowler because it hooks early. Even though it hooks early this ball still hits like a high performance ball, which is hitting like a truck. this pin action that you get with this ball is unbelievable. If you don't want to spend money for a high quality ball or If you are a beginner but plays on heavy oil then I advise you to get this ball.

good rolling ball with awesome hitting power, fairly cheap compared to my black widow pearl. controllable rool with nice finish. would recommend for medium contidions if you dont put hand in the ball or heavy oil for young crankers. I was thinking about polishing it but why take the ball out of its element and it was a good excuse to get the widow pearl. If you spin the ball it will fo longer and flip harder. Wish i would have put a lighter pattern on it but if i play put the back i can run up the boards and everyone knows "Staighter is Greater"

The ball is jus amazing. It rolls identical to the way the old V2 sanded did. The ball is jus great. Coverstock is easily changed and adapts well to everything you do to it. You want more reaction and smoother keep it dull. If you want a lil more skid flip polish it. the ball carries amazing either way no matter what. it is a must have for the price. if you were impressed by the v2 sanded you will love this ball. Put your favorite drilling on it and you will fall in love with the ball its jus so amazing. You can play any part of the lane with this ball it carries at any angle. jus flat out amazing piece of equipment from ebonite.
