This bill is drilled with 4 1/4" pin with loaded thumb weight. When the ball start on the lane, I can get about 35 feet of skid and then a nice smooth reaction on the last 25 feet with a nice solid hit. The only problem is when my guy drilled the ball for me he gave right-handed pitches in the fingers and after about a game and a half my fingers hurt so much that I can't throw the ball anymore. But, overall proformance on the ball is good with a nice smooth arc on the backends. My grade for this is probably about a B-.

I just received this ball courtesy of Ebay and have managed to put it through the trials on three different patterns. This ball transitions smoothly down the lane with nice length and moderate snap on the end playing the track area. If you move to an inside-out line (15-5) ball wants to roll up when it bumps the drier boards and snap through the deck. Actually, that line seems to play the best with great carry and pins flying everywhere. With lots of speed and an up the back release, I Was able to play outside 5 (more like on 5 and shadow the ditch taking it to the 2 or 3 board) resulting in a strong, early movement to the pocket with less entry angle than the other lines but more pin action. Most balls have a common sound at impact with few exceptions (lane 1, MoRich) This ball actually sounds "weak" at impact like half-pocket hits even when you crush it. As far as I care, it can sound like whoopie cushion as long as it carries and this ball does just that.

This ball had a 1-2 inch pin. I can do anything with this ball. Third game with it I shot 289. It is the only ball I can play down-and-in with and play from the gutter with. This ball clears the heads very easily and hits great. As of right now this is the best ball I have. Here is the drill pattern: ..O.O .........o .....CG ....O On synthetic lanes this ball has an arch type of backend but on wood it flips like crazy. Bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla.

My first Dyno-Thane and I am impressed. I had it drilled using their #1 drill pattern to use it on medium/dry lanes. It does just what I wanted it to do. I was looking for a ball that had a smooth arc to the pocket that I could use when the lanes started drying out. I used it the first time in league in the 2nd game and wished I had switched from my 3X sooner. This ball really opened up the pocket for me. It carries high hits and is very predictable and forgiving. Makes me want to try the "Thing Lives" to replace my heavy oil ball.

Besides the new colors, it is clean through the front and reacts sharper on the back than I was expecting, but in a good way. This ball is definately better for me when I have to move my feet in a little and go around the shot. It still has the great hit like the rest of the line. Sorry, out of words, so I will try to fill up the rest of my review with whatever comes out of my brain. Its hot down here, but at least I have a fan in my office, got to go bowl tonite, we will see what the bowling Gods have in store for me.

DRILLED MINE WITH MY USUAL LAYOUT, PIN NEGATIVE OVER THE MIDDLE FINGER AND CG IN THE PALM. BOWLED ON A FRESH HOUSE SHOT 42 FEET 7 TO 7. BALL CLEARED THE FRONT GREAT, MUCH BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL PEARL AND MADE A NICE HARD MOVE IN THE BACK. BALL HITS LIKE A TRUCK, THE SOUND OF THE HITS WERE EXPLOSIVE. THIS IS A GREAT BALL FOR TYPICAL HOUSE SHOTS AND WHEN THE LANES START TO BURN UP A LITTLE. VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS ONE. I THINK THIS IS GOING TO BE A GOOD BALL FOR ME WHEN MY BLACK SOLIDS (I HAVE 6 OF THEM!!!) START TO BURN UP A TOO EARLY. GLAD TO SEE THIS ONE COME OUT, I LOVE THE VENDETTA LINE, THE BEST BALLS I HAVE EVER THROWN.
