This ball like other Dyno-Thane balls, it hits great. It is long and strong on the backend. Pin is 2-3. Layout is like this: ..O.O.o ...CG ...O The big thing I don't really like is that I was told it could be my dry lane ball but its not, but thats ok, thats why I have a Power Groove coming to me. la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la.

I threw one of my best games ever in my life with this ball. I had 9 in a row through 9 and in the beginning of the tenth I was to nervous and I pushed the ball out and channled it! :`( *tear. lol. But anywho, every single shot I threw went through the pins as if they were paper and the ball was a fillet blade. Best ball made from Dyno Thane! And even though I will soon be switching to all Track equipment I will always carry the Crisis with me because it has been one of the best bowling balls I own.

Ball specs before drilled: Ball Weight:15 pounds, 4 ounces Top Weight: 2.42 ounces Pin Distance: 3-3.5 inches Drilling: Basic Label Hook Potential: This ball was not intended for oil. The Crisis is a ball that fits well for Medium-light oil lanes. High rev player will like this ball for medium oil. Lower rev players will enjoy the predictability and lower hook potential on dry lanes. Hook Shape: The Crisis has a nice, even arc. It's very smooth on medium-light conditions. I'm a high rev player, and it gets a LITTLE jumpy on the pure dry lanes. BUT with a change of hand positions, this can be prevented. Flare Potential: Differential of .033. Gives small amount of flare. All ratings are of 12 strikes. 1 strike being the lowest, 12 strikes being the highest of ratings. LANE CONDITIONS: Heavy oil: 5 strikes. This is not where the crisis should be handled. It is not a oiler, but you can still use it. I can play straight up 5 on the heavy conditions.

i have had this ball for some time and it definately hits hard when it is directly in the pocket. it isn't very forgiving at all whwen it comes to light shots, however a heavy shot will leave you the typical 4 pin. if you throw it fast, you'll need to throw it direct, but for a slow roller it comes back on dry lanes and really hits. It rolls very consistent and usually wont give you too much trouble over reacting. Spare shots can be completed wth this ball but i don't reccomend it. a great ball, but for more experienced bowlers. But as the ball gets older it actually starts hooking a great deal more than expected. i have the killer instinct and this and this actually hooks more boards now. watch out for corner pins. wow.

I received this ball when I first started bowling with a serious attitude to get better and raise my average. This was my first resin ball, I was either 14 or 15 when I bought it. I was using the ball on wood lanes that were dry on the first game after they been oiled, and would get dirt dry after about four or five games. This ball just fit these lanes great, It seem to always manage to get through the fronts and still come back with plenty of power. The ball had a snappy kind of arc when I first bought it. After refinishing the ball a couple of times it now has a smooth arc. The ball hits like a truck, It just seems to clean the deck everytime. I'm 18 now, and I have went through a lot of bowling balls, but this was my first resin ball and I still have It and still pull it out for those lanes than are a little dry up front. The ball has a great price, and for anyone looking for a resin ball that won't overreact on drier lanes, this is the ball you want. You won't be disappointed its

The Dyno-Thane Crisis was one of the best resin bowling balls I have ever thrown. It was very easy to control even on the more "burnt-out" shots. It allowed me to remain further outside and play the line I am most comfortable with, instead of making the 20-board jump left and playing tight up the middle. The only downside to this ball is that is not designed for use in heavier oil and must remain in the bag when those conditions present itself. Otherwise, I would definately recommend this ball to anyone who wants the performance of a $200+ ball at a $120 price.
