DYNOPIMP
Box finish, 4" pin, drilled 4 x 4-1/2 pin down. Placed the pin down to help eliminate a snappy backend, ended up with a strong arcing motion very easy to adjust the line as the shot breaksdown. Generally used in late 2nd game or third game. Usually able to move 4 boards right and play straight up the 10 board and walk her to the pocket with plenty of continuation at the pocket. A good ball for drier or second shift shot. Based off what I have seen this is not a toasted lane ball, more so a light to med light ball. The cover is stronger resin than expected, handles moderate oil rather well providing ball speed is consistant and it is rolled off the hand opposed to being chucked. Great addition to my existing arsenal of HE, TR and V

This ball is a very easily read product from Phil Cardinale over at Dyno-Thane. I really like to read, the hard hits and the controlled hook on the Crisis Pearl. I've had it for a few weeks and bowled very well. You just need to stay out of the oil because it will try to come back but it never will. The Pearl coverstock allows the ball to roll through the heads and give it a nice hook at about the 40-45 board. It hits real nice and doesn't come in behind the head pin and leave those nasty 10's. It's a great ball so far.

I have a unique problem, in that I complain that a ball hooks too much. I called my local Dynothane rep and told him that my "The Thing Returns" is just too much ball and flips way too early, despite drilling 4 of them 4 different ways. The rep said he had the ticket. a Crisis Pearl. I thought to myself "the answer to my problems is a cheap entry level ball, I DOUBT IT" First thing I noticed was, there is a 10 board difference between the Crisis Pearl and my The Thing Returns. I drilled the Crisis Pearl Identical to my longest Thing. Pin between and above the fingers. Ball was 15lbs with 3oz top. Pin out 3 inches. This ball is the ticket when the lanes break down. Skids forever yet comes strong off of the backends. No trouble with carry, which I usually see with entry level balls. Worked well on synthetics as well as wood. 1st game I threw with it was on "next day" league shot. I could not keep The Thing Returns on the lane. Yet just buried every shot I threw with the Crisis Pear
