5 x 5 1/2 pin under ring stacked with no weight hole. Strong cover and mild core allow me to control light, short oil patterns. This is THE ball I have been looking for for many years. I struggle mightly with short and/or light oil patterns. The highly polished solid cover on this ball is a perfect match for my style. It give me great push through the front half of the lanes and unleashed plenty of energy at the pins. I have always had trouble getting balls to push downlane and have good carry once they arrive. This ball allows me to play any part of the lane and carry is usually top notch. It will let you know immediately if carry will be an issue. Crisis Solid take to multiple hand positions and give accurate/reliable feedback on lane conditions. Ball thrives on broken down shots. It ignores the fronts, and makes a consistent turn. If you want a ball to rule broken down, short oil, or light volume shots look no further than a Crisis Solid!
