https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7jWaW-WXkk Got the new Columbia 300 Nitrous black/blue/bronze a few weeks ago to try out as my new lighter oil ball. Ball is drilled on the Rico layout which for me has a 5" pin to PAP. Ball is exactly what I was looking for in this performance category. The Nitrous comes at 500/2000 AbralonĀ® Polished w/Powerhouse Factory Finish Polish which is fine but I prefer a little more surface to even out the reaction. The surface was adjusted with a 2000 siaair pad on 6 sides for 30secs each side by hand on a ball spinner prior to making the video. This video is the first 2 games of me throwing the new ball. This was shot first thing in the morning when the bowling alley opened on a fresh house shot. Being early summer the lanes have a little more hook. Tried the first few shots playing a little further right. Plenty of hook and wasn't able to repeat shots consistently trying to force the ball in that area. Moved in a little further left and was able to open the lanes up, and have a great shot. I have also used this ball in my sport league on the Sphinx and Dead Mans Curve. Great ball that can get a lot of use for most bowlers, and makes it easy to stay out of trouble on a variety of conditions. For most on a typical house shot this ball can give you three games playing around the same area easy with out having to kill yourself trying to force the ball like some of the higher price point/more aggressive bowling balls have a tendency to do. I also use this ball as my spare ball. Which is another reason I really wanted this ball. I love making videos for bowling balls in this price point because they really are a can't miss product....especially if you aren't afraid to make some surface adjustments to the box finish to better match your style or conditions. Some of the best bang for your bowling dollar.
