Bought my freeze used from a fellow bowler wanting to experiment on a different layout before I drilled my Freeze Hybrid. Two months later I'm still using the regular freeze and my hybrid is still in the box just sitting there. An oldie but goodie is a very good description of this ball. The Columbia 300 Freeze is a low performance ball with great potential. It's got a very smooth motion with plenty of back-end and carrying capabilities. It's replaced my Wicked Siege as the most versatile ball I have in my arsenal. I would say it's a more tamed Invasion if I could compare it to another ball. I say tamed because my invasion has a horrible temper, it doesn't react well to lighter conditions and it shows by burning out where as the freeze was more forgiving even on heavier conditions. But of course that's not where this ball shines. Best used for medium to lighter conditions when the oil breaks down and you need a ball to hold and hit your marks.
