This ball is drilled to go long and snap back, it gets down easy and comes back without overhooking and kills the pocket!! excellent find! if you can get one, get one. The pearl coverstock does not track out like the particles either. Leaves an occasional 10 pin or 7 pin on light shots but what ball doesn't? 9 pins sometimes when it goes high but hardly ever. The best ball i've ever had! You can use it on Heavy oil or on light, but on light you will be in the left gutter throwing it out but it will still kill the pocket

I've gone through about 20 bowling balls and everytime for practice warmup its the first ball i throw. when it hits pocket the pins almost make themselves fall down. on dry lanes i lowered my revs and kept the speed the same and shot 300 with relative ease. If you hate to pick up the ten pin, this ball is perfect. i had 24 strikes in a row, spread over three games, and never in the three games left 10 standing. i left 4, but thats because i hit heavy. this ball does its job perfectly and hits and knocks them down. If you can find it, BUY IT. P.S.- the AS in my name stands for AFTER SHOCK! this ball is very fun to throw as well. i wish i could find a heavier one so i can still throw it.<scri

Yowie! 3/665 isn't a bad first night back from a ball that hasn't been in a usable state for nearly 3 years. After a long overdue repair job last week it weas time to bring this monster back into the bag. It's drilled with pin at leverage with cg 2" from pap with hole on PAP(you wont find that layout on the original drillsheet) with pin at 10.30 on the clock from the CG . Even with this earlier rolling/big flare drilling the Pearl cover gives this ball easy length as long as the heads are still there. This layout does a nice job of rounding off the breakpoint too. The carry is pretty good, the pins stay down and if you get it clean wave bye bye to those pesky corners. I had this ball drilled over the label a few years ago and it had a lot of length with a savage backend reaction. This 10.30 layout gives a lot more control without sacrificing hitting power and will still come back from anywhere when you have some dry backends too play with, this is still one big, big ball!

drilled 33/8x33/8 hole on PAP..polished to 1500... All I can say is WOW!!!......this ball is awesome....very strong snapping motion, great for opening up the pocket. Dry Heads?? no problem Long heavy oil?? just tighten up and let it go. Heavy carrydown is the only thing it has trouble with...due mainly to the pearl cover.......but....who cares??? For a Columbia ball with the Cerami-Core, it has a pretty high RG, but couple that with the high RG diff., you'll see how it will snap very hard! A great ball, and a bargin.......if you can find one!!!!!!
