Technology The Vapor Zone brings the popular reaction of the Absolute Inferno to the Zone Asymmetric line. The Vapor Zone combines the same rough buff Activator Plus coverstock used on the Absolute Inferno with the Ultra-Low RG Asymmetrical core system from the Zone Classic. This core/coverstock combination produces an Absolute Inferno like ball reaction with the drilling options of an asymmetrical core. In the front-ends: The Activator Plus coverstock is clean through the fronts, saving more reaction for the back-ends. This provides improved hitting power and back-end recovery while reducing sensitivity to breakdown in front-end lane conditions and lane surfaces that are less than ideal. In the mid-lane: The Ultra-Low RG core provides strong mid-lane recovery while the Activator Plus provides improved traction in the oil with a smoother, more effective reaction off the dry. This combination reduces over/under reaction by making the

I bought this bowling ball from one of my best friends, when he first bought his I threw it and almost bought one. I bowl on a PBA shot league, a north state travel league, and whenever i get to go, a league with a normal house pattern. If it doesn't have a dry board to turn off of it skids too far and you cant make it to the pocket. The one I have is drill to go long and strong, I can generally get a breakpoint as far as 45 feet down the lane unless they're way burnt up. basically this ball is a goes long, flips like a mother, and hits like a semi.

i got this ball about 3 weeks after my twisted fury because i talked to Sean Rash at a pro am and asked him what a good compliment to the twisted fury was and he said vapor zone so i bought it. this ball hits amazingly hard, i shot my first league 300 in 4 years with it so thats a plus. it looks awesome going down the lane, i drilled it for medium- medium light oil conditions, all in all its just a great ball and to me it compliments the twisted fury well. i have to add more words since its not 100 yet so blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

Vapor Zone was my first (real) performance ball. My average went up about 20 points (165-188) in 1,5 years and I had this ball to help me accoplish that. I bought my Vapor in the fall of 2005 and it still is a very useful tool for me when my newest balls tend to turn too much or too early. This ball is very good all-arounder. I always tend to turn towards my Vapor when I need a solid performance. It seems like this ball only gets better and better. Sure it doensn´t have the force it had when it was new. It has however developed into a great medium-light oil ball that still knocks the pins down. I will continue to cherish this ball. I´m thinking of re-surfacing the ball or have a go with the Hook-Again treatment to give a little more power to my Vapor. Another possibility is to buy a new Vapor as well. That is how much I like this ball!

ALTHOUGH I'M USING STORM BALLS THIS YEAR I STILL HAVE ROOM FOR BRUNSWICK. i LIKE ASYM. BALLS AND THE VAPOR IS JUST A GREAT RELIABLE BALL. LONG AND STRONG. THE BALL HAS A NICE WHIP INTHE BACKEND. HITS HARD AND CARRIES WELL. IF I GET SLOPPY I WILL LEAVE MANY CORNER PINS. IF YOUR A BRUNSWICK BOWLER I RECOMMEND THIS BALL. THE ZONE LINE HAS A GREAT HIT AND WILL KEEP YOU SCORING GREAT GAMES. I DRILLED THE BALL WITH PIN ABOVE THE RING FINGER AND MASS BIAS ON THE SIDE OF THE THUMB. A SUPER DRILL. MY SON DRILLED ONE WITH THE PIN UNDER THE RING FINGER AND MAS BIAS KICKED OUT FOR AND EARLY ROLL AND IT HITS WELL. BOTH DRILLS ARE EXCELLENT...ENJO

this was my first ball from brunswick that wasn't an inferno. i liked the way it hit when i saw others bowl with it, so i read up on it and bought one. the vapor zone is amazing! excellent length and strong move to pocket. carry is unmatched. it made me buy a red zone and i had that drilled similar(stronger actually) but when the lanes are too dry for the vapor i switch to the red and score just as i had been earlier. the brunswick asymmetrical line is amazing. very versatile balls with great adaptation to speed and hand position. i recocmend any of the zones to any bowler looking to add depth to their game.

I have the Pin above and to the left of my middle finger and the CG below and to the right of my ring finger and i can pretty much do anything with this ball on a Heavy, Medium, and Dry lane oil pattern. This ball is great for someone that wants to experiment with lane conditions and try different lines and releases. This ball is also very predictable, and anything you "tell" the ball to do, it will do it. I have not yet shot a 300 with this ball, but it will soon come. Im also not a very big fan of brunswick stuff, but this ball is awesome. Great ball by Brunswick! Keep it up.

I have this ball as my mediu, oil ball. It moves nicely, comes back if I throw it out a little bit. It hits hard. It can get a bit overagressive if the lanes dry out. In which case simply switch to something that goes longer. It has a nice even arch to it. It'll go too long and lose too much energy in a lot of oil. Over all I really like. The color is really cool. I can't say anything negative about it.I'm very pleased with it. I chose my particular one because of the serial number. It has 911 in it. For some reason that seemed like a sign I should get that particular one. I think it's good to have a reminder of such things.

great great ball it really does have a nice line to the ball and will come bak if throwing the ball far to the outside but also waits until the backends to react and carries through the pins always recovers always hits hard, if u put fingers into the ball never leaves 10 pin my first tim using it i only left 2 ten pins in league, carry down isn't a problem, very very good at not hooking before 2/3's down lane can't use wen lanes start to dry out but itreally should be the first ball of of the bag it does compliment brunswick for a great ball Surfaces Shiny- waits a long time to react but when it does it destroys the pocket. very skid flippy dull-great mid-lane roll and continuous backend reaction

Got the Vapor for Christmas and just had it drilled up. After about 5 games, I am very impressed. The color of this ball is great, so it is pleasing to look at, but depending on how you get it drilled the engravings make it look a bit tacky going down lane under normal lighting. Cosmic bowling would probably be different though. I had it drilled to swing from 13 to 5 or 6 and recover, and this ball does just that. It clears the heads without a problem even on dry lanes, but you need to be careful about when you let it move. If you delay the reaction the right amount of time, the ball can barely miss the pocket. Pin action is great, lots of late taps on splits are really nice. Overall, I would highly recommend this ball to anyone looking for a great lane reader and medium oil reactive ball.

this is the best ball evr 4 sport shots. you can use is on fresh heavy oil because it is agressiv and it works well on carry down. over the summer i got this ball and it did not work on house shots very well. but latly i have been throwing it on a heavy oil house shot and i have been scoring very well. the thing that suprised me the most was that it works good on medium to lighter patterns because it is polished ball and tends to go longer. i got this drilled stacked with the pin below the fingers.

i had my vapor zone drilled for lenght and some serious backend reactions for a variety of possible moves. the ball reacts very nicely and the action is also very easy to please whoever throws this ball. the color is also very nice as well. the price makes this balla good buy and also the way it handles carry-down and skippy patterns and the ball's ability to hold pocket makes it all the sweeter.i playing up the boards is the best way for me to play with it but i can also swing the ball. my ball has a tight track to decrease overhook and conserve enrgy for a monstrous backend move to the pocket.

The Vapor Zone is a lot of ball for the price. I actually use it as my heavy oil ball, but it's so versatile that i can use it on almost anything. I have this one drilled aggressively. I have the pin about 1/8" above and right of my ring finger (despite the 'pin safety zone' the entire ring finger is inside of it), and the pin is about 2.5". The CG is kicked out to the right to about 30 degrees and my PAP is about 5'' over and 1'' up. I am convinced that this ball is better overall then a Smokin' Inferno (my high game and high series ball). The Vapor Zone is so strong of a ball that I'm surprised it's not on the Inferno line. The Radical Inferno is probably my next ball, so look out for the review on that probably by the end of August.

Replaced my Absolute Inferno with the Vapor Zone. Drilled same layout. Did not notice any difference between the two. The Vapor zone is a bit stronger in the midlane than the Zone classic, but the Zone Classic tend to have a little stronger backend. Those looking for the Inferno performance at the Zone price, get yourself a Vapor Zone. Layout of my equipment is 4" pin from PAP with a MB placement of 45 degrees. PAP is over 5 3/4 and up 3/4. The Zone line-up is Superior performance for the money. Used the Vapor Zone at every tournamnet bowled this year and have yet failed to cash.

This is the best ball released by any company in the past few years at a very reasonable price. Most people hype up the "high end" balls, but this ball has it all. As I said earlier it clears the heads clean, good mid-lane reaction, and a backend that hits harder and carries better than any other ball I have thrown. The best part is it's very versatile, you can play several different lines with it and still get a good reation. I've noticed that a few people have said it can't handle carry down. Most balls don't handle carry down that well. All you do is adjust hand position, or a few boards, I'm telling you this ball WILL play from anywhere on the lane. Just remember it's an asymmetric ball, so pay attention to your drill lay out.<sc

This ball was driled to compliment my classic zone. This ball have more of a skid flip roll, unlike my classic zone which is an arc breakpoint into a strong backend reaction. The ball is fantastic on heavy oiled shots with fresh or carry down conditions. This ball takes over when my classic zone quits on the backend. Although this ball is stronger then the CZ it gets down the lane further and makes a quick backend which helps when carry down kills everyone else. This ball is more of a sport shot ball witht he way I got it drilled and it gives you a lot of room. although it does tend to move the oil around quickly because it does have a tiny bit of particle in the cover stock All in all it's a great ball.

After seeing other bowlers perform well with this ball, I bought one and have been very satisfied with its performance. With the onset of arthritis in my hand, I needed a Low-RG ball to help me get more revs on the ball. At the breakpoint, it will charge and the entry angle will provide great carry. It is outstanding on medium oil and won't roll out. With a different drill I may be able to play up the boards and not lose any carrying power. The roll is consistant and will not flip early or to late. Very clean through the heads

its a good ball to have after ur first game, sometimes it doesnt work well on freashly oiled lanes, but i have left many ten pins for some reason, either by how i throw or how it was drilled or my line, but i've won 1 tourn, placed in top five a lot, sometimes because the ball didnt carry, but otherwise it is a good ball. if u have higher revs it will probably work better for u, but if u have slower speeds, it will still work and carry but bot as musch or as well, great ball can make it hook a lot if u want, but i still don't understand for the reason that i keep only leaving stupid ten pins. UGHH!!!!

Its a great ball. Its a ball that is very predictable and i no i can go to it when i need to. I always start out with it tournaments and make adjustments from there. Any time i start out with it, i dont change. I recomd a skid/flip drilling for it, its gives the ball a lot more backend, and i mean alot. Just a suggestion, you should follow up the Vapor Zone, with the one. I like to burn up a line with my Vapor and then use the one, it works all the time. Im deffinatly buying the next Zone ball that comes out.

The Vapor Zone is a perfect house shot ball. The high average league bowler will appreciate the Vapor Zone's read of the lanes, as well as it's controlled, yet hard backend movement. Even though I rarely make the following adjustment, the ball appears to respond well to hand position changes. I usually just switch balls if I have to consider adjusting my hand position because I personally lack consistency and confidence if I have to go away from my 'A' game. The average league bowler will love the Vapor Zone's ability to open up the lanes and it's recovery from errant shots due to missing your mark, or from releasing the ball improperly. Hey, even the higher avg. bowlers make these same mistakes, so everyone's happy! The Vapor Zone matches up well to any medium oil shot w/relatively clean backends. My take: I haven't purchased a Brunswick product since the original Danger Zone and all I can say is that this ball is a real winner. No wonder *Mo Pinel (Morich) is havi

Brunswick Vapor Zone Review: I feel I have neglected everyone by not writing a review on what I consider one of the greatest balls to be released in the last few years. I was under contract with Storm when this ball was first released and within a few days of watching some our customers use it I realized that I had to try one, it looked that great. I was personally shocked at how strong this ball was when I first thru it. The Vapor utilizes the elliptical asymmetrical core of the Strike Zone and Classic Zone, with the Absolute Inferno cover stock. This is the first ball I have used in a long time that was strong in mid lane but still made a super strong move down the lane. There is no quit in this ball. In comparison to the Strike Zone the ball is much cleaner thru the front of the lane with a much greater backend. And in comparison to the Absolute Inferno, the Vapor is much stronger in the mid-lane, but still utilizes the great backend of the Absolute. A nice three ball arsenal

Overall an excellent ball with potential for normal to inside lines! Same ball as thrown by Mika and Del on TV and I had the same huge pocket area. Overall I found it to be as consistient as my Blue Hammer for over/under (as in not much). Outside of the old Pro Rhinos this is the best Brunswick ball I have ever owned. Not sure yet but I do believe the ball does "soak" some oil and may require occassional "water bathing" to get the oil out of the shell! Ball doesn't like carry down nor does it do well with spotty backends.

this ball rolls nice but wont carrie on wood lanes, carries everything on sinthetic lanes, works nicer when polished, great go to ball, you can run like 6 different lines in one game, you hit the pocket and clear the deck most of the time , great ball if you need a go to ball, works great on dry lanes, the ball works on pretty much any condition (dry, medium, wet), Perfect ball for a cranker that throws many revs, Whether you spin, use fingers, wrist or you put massive hand in the ball this ball is great for you, best drilling would be have the top weight next to the ring finger and kick the center of gravity right of the palm (if your righty) or kick the center of gravity to the left of your palm (If your lefty) with a 4 inch pin and ghet a decent size wieght hole put on the right side if your righty or if your lefty have them put a weight hole on the left side of the ball, the weight hole should be the size of your thumb and at least one to one and a half inches deep for maximum hook
