This ball is very forgiving of my mistakes. Just had it resurfaced after 10 years in storage after I stopped bowling. Throw it out too far and just before it goes in the gutter, it hooks and drives to the pocket. Lay it down over the 3rd arrow and it's a smooth hook through the heavy oil and into the pocket. I used to hit 10 pins with it but, can no longer throw this 16 pounder that hard so I ordered a Tzone plastic ball for those. It's a very forgiving ball and after 8 weeks of my first league in over 10 years, I've already rolled 2 games that had 7 strikes in a row and a 277 and 252 game.

GREAT BALL. I've always wanted this ball and found a used one in a storage area in the back of a local house. It was a trade in and I needed to have the thumb hole adjusted That night, 773 (269), this past week 783 (279). Missed a 10 pin, 3-6-10, cost me my 800. This Zone looks close to new Not too bad for a 10 yr old ball that looks almost brand new after it was wet sanded then polished. Its reaction is so predictable. Its like my Red Wolf, older small ball that still knows how to get it done. Pin is to right mid-lower side on ring finger and just is a very smooth ball

I have had it for a few years now and its one of the better balls i own.I can throw this ball in ne way i like and usually does what i want at all times. Before i got this ball i owned a regular 14 lbs house ball that i first learned to throw a hook.I dont have any dislikes. It grabs the lane and gets down real good. The other ball i throw now is an impact zone . i have had the both of them for years. If i had to rate this two very decent balls i would have to give them a nine out of ten .pins ne one out there that can find either one of these they are a great investment.

great ball when the backends are dryer. it will drive the pocket and it hits very very hard. i still use it quite a bit, just had it resurfaced today, now looks new. will use this ball again, and again. very dependable.if brunswick would make balls like this again, i might switch back to them. as a matter of fact this was the last brunswick ball i purchesed, then i switched to track. but the bottom line is the speed zone does work , and it works well. i dont know what else to say about it, except that the ball does its job when the lane condition meets the ball set up.

This is always the first ball out of the bag on any house shot. (For the sport condition, I try my Slate Quantum.) It resists the super-dry backends and arcs smoothly, never overly snappy. When I can hit the hole with it, it carries most of the time, and when I play the light shot, pins really fly. I got my original Speed Zone in 1997, and bought another on eBay in 2002 for $60. I can throw with a variety of hand positions, and the ball is very obedient with them all. This is not a ball to swing coast-to-coast with unless the body of the lane is quite dry and you have a LOT of hand.<scrip
