I say it everytime a new Brunswick ball comes out, but every time a new set of balls come out, the way they go through the pins just keeps getting better and better. When this ball begins to makes its turn towards the pocket, I have very little fear that it won’t knock down all 10 pins. This ball is very forgiving. When missing out, it turns the corner hard. When missing in, it lays off and doesn’t ring a corner pin. I’ve compared this ball to both my Mastermind Genius and Intellect. When the Intellect begins to face up a little early, I feel like I can immediately switch to the Scholar and not need to make a move. Compared to the Genius, to me, this is an improved version of the Genius. Where I would have to move a little out when balling down from the Intellect, I don’t have to now. The Scholar just reads the spot a lot better than the Genius. When the Scholar begins to be a little too jumpy, I feel like the Genius can blend out the pattern better. --The opinions expressed are solely those of the writer and not of Brunswick Corporation--
