one of many balls i bought off the used rack at the pro shop. just being a Brunswick Zone freak i had to get it. they call this ball contact zone for a reason. pins just go flying everywhere. this ball destorys the pocket. some people compare this ball to the riot zone, (which is my favorite ball of all time) saying they are alot alike???? maybe its just me i dont see that. the contact does not rev up anything like the riot, the contact has more of a skid/hard arc motion, riot is smooth and very predictable. when the riot is cutting too early i can pick up this ball AND GET IN THE ZONE.<scrip

This ball is a very good carry ball but like i said again this ball is very oil sensitive and is soaked with oil in about 75 games. This ball doesn't work very well in heavy oil conditions because it slides alot. The best conditiojs for this ball is oily front 30 to 40 feet with drier backend the last 20 feet. After use you need to clean this ball or it will get oil stains outside of the bowling ball which is pretty tough to get off. This ball is good for a person that is looking for hook but not to much off it. It gives a nice consistant roll and consitant hook. Good bye

This is yet another ball I found on the rack in nearly mint condition (actually a friend found it for me). This ball was drilled for a lefty and the span & fingers were perfect so I figured I might as well give this ball a shot. Im glad I did. I tried this ball before the lanes were oiled and it was nearly uncontrolable. I was about to give up on it when I figured to try it on fresh oil and that where this ball shows its true colors. This ball saved up its power until it reached the backend where it just snapped in and crushed the pins.<

Here's the story. Late in 2002 during the fall league, my riot zone was not hooking any more. I decided to go to my trusty friend Ebay to look for some better equipment. I saw this ball and I do not remember the reason the guy was selling it so I decided to put a bid on it (it was a used ball). I ended up winning the ball for (get this) $12.50 and shipping was $15. I thought that I would spent another 50 for drilling, but that was not the case. When it arrived the following week, which was about 1 hour before league started, I put my fingers in the ball and behold it fit very well. I put new finger tip grips in it and have not looked back since. I have shot my high game of 269 and high series of 655 with this ball. It is very good, but I am gonna get it redrilled for a bigger hook since I bought a nu-line virus to replace this one.

Good to use at medium to med-oily conditions, cause it needs oil to get down the lane. If it did the torque will save much of the rev energy for the backend. If it is just near the pocket it will keep the pins low and thus create excellent carry without leaving many 10s. Although it is a little hard to create revs the torque will give you the hook power you need. The fact I like most is that you can stay lined up very long. Sometimes I can play 4 games without having to change anything. If there is medium oil you should play through the middle. On medium/dry conditions better choose another ball.

GREAT BALL!!! Get's through the heads without a problem, the ball has a great amout of hook for me. It goes kinda long and snaps EXTREMELY HARD! When i first got the ball it didnt do alot for me, but once i wore the factory finish off a little... BAM!! The ball was an animal!! I have the ball drilled with a 3 3/8 X 3 3/8 drill pattern. I hope to have this ball for a long time because it has been a Great addition to my arsenal and has filled a gap in my game. Its' just too bad that you cant really find them anymore. =(

Drilled this puppy up because it was dirt cheap on ebay. 16 Lbs pin above ring finger. I was happy with this ball at first because it was easy to find a line with and carried well on fresh oil with nice clean backends. However, as the oil dried up it overreacted terribly and I had to move my feet a ton to stay in the pocket. To make things even worse the carry went away! If there is any oil at all on the backends, this ball just won't finish!! This thing is ok on its condition but there are so many better balls out there.

I got this ball as a gift from my cousin, Ernie. Overall, this ball is probably one of the most versatile proactive balls out there. Too bad Brunswick discountinued it so quickly I think that people could benefit from this ball. I can play in different lines with this ball. It skids a bit long, rolls hard and hits the pins like there's no tommorow. Although, after using it for quite sometime, I did notice that brunswick still has it's flow in production for it tracks out too early just like the other balls they have in the market. I would really recommend this ball to the newbies looking for a versatile proactive ball to start with.
