However, my excitement didn’t end at just how the ball looked on the shelf. This ball is definitely the answer for when the lanes begin to hook. Bowling during a 2nd shift league, I found that this ball was effortless getting through the fronts (no concern about it hooking early at all), and when it got to the spot, made a hard turn, like a Melee Jab would on the fresh, and like it’s counterpart, Soul, this ball went through the pins great. As a replacement for the Ringer line, and being the drier lane option of the two Souls, I decided to lay my Soul Mate out like my Platinum Ringer. Compared to the Platinum, I found this ball to be a little longer and stronger. While the Soul was a nice blend between a Blue and Burgundy Ringer, I found the Soul Mate to be a nice blend between the Platinum Ringer and Strike King: clean like the Strike King, and backend hook like the Platinum Ringer.
