Plastic slips. The Groove grips. And grip is exactly what you need to improve your game. When you’re ready to step up from plastic, get in the Groove. Ready to start hooking the ball? Move up from Plastic to Reactive coverstock technology. Compared to Plastic, Reactive coverstock technology increases traction and hooking action in the oil, and Reactive coverstocks can be sanded or shined to create large differences in hook potential. Reactive coverstocks also respond more aggressively to dry lane surfaces than Urethane coverstocks, increasing backend hooking action and hitting power. Coverstock: The Neon Green/Purple Pearl & Ice Blue feature Brunswick’s popular PowrKoil 17 Reactive coverstock. First used on the Sapphire Zone, PowrKoil 17 is the strongest Reactive coverstock ever used on a Groove class ball. Core: The Neon Green/Purple Pearl & Ice Blue introduce Brunswick’s new DISC (Differential Increasing Side Cylinders) core technology which provides: The largest track f

This ball has a 3" pin, so I put the pin over ring, and stacked the CG straight below. Myself, I am a tweener with medium revs and about 17mph ball speed. I use this ball for lighter oil, as a step down ball from my bruiser, and diesel particle. I like this ball, it has a nice skid, then snaps to the pocket. It's a lot more ball than Brunswick advertises it to be. If I had 400 revs and 16mph speed, I could probably use it for medium. This is definitely the most ball for the money, you could make an arsenal with this, the sanded reactive groove, and the proactive groove. Though I have to say, sometimes the ball can be over/under if there is a little too much oil, but it's not horrible or anything. Highly recommended to anyone, be you a beginner, or on the PBA tour. Most ball for the money, hands down. This ball is simply SCRUMTRILASSANT! Now go buy this ball. MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!!!

Punched up the Ice Blue hoping for a ball that would let me play outside of 3rd arrow and found a backend hook monster instead. The ball is drilled straight label with a 2.5-3" pin, and a starting top weight of 2.7 ounces. This is my go-to ball after the first game in league when the wooden lanes at my house fry up, as it lets me swing it from 35 out 5 and back to the pocket with plenty of power left to shred the rack. So far I have only thrown it on the THS where it clearly excels, but I hope to test it out on some reverse block and sport conditions soon. Being a high rev bowler I can use this ball from light oil (just amp up the speed) to heavy oil (square up and play the twig) which is a huge advantage at tournaments as I don't need to be lugging around an extra ball for light and heavy oil. The only issue I have with this ball is the drill pattern on it because it snaps so violenty on the backend that it needs to be on 5 board at the breakpoint, otherwise it could no

This ball turns the corner like nothing i have ever thrown, it hits like a train. I could play anywhere I wanted with it, from lofting the right gutter cap, all the way in to the 5 board. THIS BALL TRULY IS HOOK! I put pink grips in it, so it looks pretty going down the lane. I also had the guys at Beano's Proshop make sure it was a legal ball, so I can use it in tournament competition. But honestly now... if you're looking for a ball for oil, look no further, if you can find one of these, please, do yourself the favor and pick it up. The only way I can describe the way this ball smells when it is being drilled, is a grove of wild flowers, with a crisp spring breeze. So please! pick this ball up now!
