I recently found another one of these balls and it is my favorite of all time. I's drilled 4 1/2 x 4 no weighthole and left in box condition. It is a great ball to use on a variety of shots. I work at my on campus bowling alley and I layed out a flat 1 to 1 ratio shot to 38 feet with stripped backends just to see if it would still give me a good read on a hard shot and suprisingly the ball stayed very smooth without any jerkiness and gave the same powerful finish. On house shots this is still a great ball to use assuming the concentration of oil start out medium-heavy since the cover is still aggressive. It still needs some dry on the backends since pearlized finishes and carrydown do not go hand and hand.

Threw my first ever 700 with this in Feb '99. Been using it for a spare ball mostly, until recently took it out and started using it again. Seems to have more consistent snap than the HPD or HPC. Like the color and you can count on the same break point, time after time. Don't know why Brunswick put this one to bed. I hear it was much more aggressive than the I or the II versions. Still a ball I would carry every week and to tournaments. Probably the best $185 I spent in a long while on a ball.
