I believe this is a great ball for beginers. I threw it on the inside of the forth arrow it hit like a truck every time. i am a begineer so i only bowl like a 150 avg. but i believe it is a pretty good ball. The only thing is that it soaks so much oil that it tracked out really fast on me. It is also a great ball for your value you can't beat the price for it. It was the first i have ever used so i highly reccomend this ball for any one that is a begineer.

reviewing this for a friend and bowling buddy that is on my league. He started off this year throwing the ball dead straight with about 10%axis rotation it would never hook but it had some nice backend. Then come half the way threw the league he started to throw more of a traditional hook. the lanes we bowl on are dead dry and he would put this ball out accross the 2nd to 3rd arrows with a couple revs and then it would start to arc about midlane and slowly arc to the pocket. It looks like a really good control ball from what i can see. he loves it so i'll give it a ten.

this ball doesnt do anything, and its not supposed to do anything, but it rules to me because it was drilled up by only the greatest man who ever lived, mike schied who worked at the greatest bowling alley ever built, maple leaf lanes, in norwalk ohio, but no they had to tear it down to build a damn Topps supermarket, which is stupid because nobody wants one anyway. and mike if you ever read this, please drill me up another ball, because Dwight doesnt know what hes doing and he almost ruined my vortex. FOR THE SAKE OF GOD!!
