Provides more lane to work with. Whiplash type move to the pocket with extended breakpoint. Wide range of creatability to accommodate varying oil patterns. Predominant characheristic is devastating angle of entry for increased carry.

Combines relatively straight initial skid and roll with a sharp hook far down the lane and a powerful move to the pocket.

Found this ball laying on the rack in good condition with no track. A friend of mine has 3 of them ,so I will give it a try. A little nicked up from the house bowlers but the span is the same as mine. Pin 3.5, top wght unknown. Changed the thumb for my pitch, a little scotchbrite, then polish add 3 coats of Doc's Magic Elixir and off we go. Stood 24 playing 17-18 and DAMN!!! I said it again. Late league shot 269,229,254. Unbelievable carry for an 11yr old ball. Performs as good as todays equipment. I think I will go back to look for another. Hey is that a NINJA your using?

I agree with the other reviews on this one, this was something special at the time it was released. I got a 16 pounder and to be honest the weight was too heavy for me at the time but I used it on occasions. The first time I tried it was in a league warmup, I cranked it about 10mph down the lane (I told you it was too heavy for me) . It went miles long and I thought nothing was going to happen then it moved from the far right (I am talking 2 or 3 board from gutter) into the pocket, the others just watched and weeped.

The Ninja was the best series ever made. It's a shame AMF stopped making them. I've used this Ninja, and it's a very good ball. Really nice control, and even on heavy oil. i went bowling with heavy oil conditions and this is a house ball at the lanes. well, i had my Vortex III and Thunderbolt M/D, and they were doing nothing. i knew the Ninja was on the racks, so i went and grabbed it and i got the first strike in that game. I'm also hoping to use the Ninja Fury and the RPM Ultra C.

The Ninja series was an outstanding line. The black Ninja was a great way to lead a new revolution. The X-Calibur from NuLine changed bowling forever, but this ball was not far behind. The Ninja was extremely long and extremely strong on the back. This ball would only be a light oil ball by todays standards, but personally if it was possible to find one NIB, I would probably have one in my bag for that condition. Outstanding ball, far supeior to any other reactive AMF created to that time. During it's time this one gets a 10, by todays standards an 8.
