This was the ball that started it all back in 1980. It was the biggest thing to hit bowling at that time. I bought my first one at this time and was very impressed as to the pin carry and control that I had on almost all the lane conditions that I faced. It was the first of many angles that I owned. It is hard to write a hundred words on a ball that is twenty-eights years in use. In todays world, this is mostly used as a spare ball, or for very tough conditions where you have to grind out a score. For me, it would still be a consistent product to use as it for almost all lanes conditions. I still have a sixteen pound ball in storage just in case I ever need it again.

I started using this ball about a year ago, Wait a year? this ball was discontinued years ago! Well It was retired as a house ball, and I decided to use it one day. I liked it enough to never buy a strike ball, and started using this one (well maybe cuz I'm poor!) . I played it str8 up, and was scoring ok with it, but I just got a ball that will replace it for good, I would say this is a ball for a beginner, who is still trying to figure out a hook because it's not too overpowering, and a nice soft 15 mph roll will will give the hook that makes it look nice. rolling 15 is too slow for me though, I'm more of a 21 - 22 guy, and my Jekyl by columbia is decent. Now that I have my new ball, it blows this one out the water, and rightfuly so since it's ancient technology! Not worth buying, buy if you forget your ball at home, and see this one on the houseball rack, blow the dust off and try it.
