The Wolverine will provide the biggest backend within the 900 Global lineup on medium conditions. This will be that ball that you can feel comfortable moving in with and opening up your angles.

The Wolverine is the newest addition to the Global 900, 700 series line. With the The Lacerate 2.0 Core, using the top portion of the Honey Badger, and the bottom portion is that of the Badger. By merging these two amazing cores into one and adding a dense flip block, we have created an engine that will change directions unbelievably sharp. Paired with the S70 Pearl Coverstock, this ball flat out hooks on the end. It is very clean through the front part of the lane storing all of its energy for when it hits the friction and once it hits that dry, there is no stopping it. This is my go to ball for when the lanes start to break down, late in the day of tournaments and you can move left and start throwing it right. For me, pearl balls that are this strong on the end, I tend to have trouble getting the corner out due to the angle, but not with the Wolverine. If you are looking for a dry - medium oil ball, the Wolverine is it.

Wolverine Ball Specs Cover Stock: S70 Pearl Finish: 1500 Grit Polished Layout:5 x 4 x 4 RG: 2.54 Differential: 0.053 Review A new ball with the great s70 coverstock, always gets my attention. Then combining the cores of my favorite 900 global balls, badger and honey badger, the only question I ask myself was why did I wait on this ball. When reviewing this ball, after testing the Nova, I immediately remembered everything I every loved about all badgers. These balls are just good. Here comes the wolverine, and like its superhero counter part, it pulls out its claws and goes to work. To me, this ball was a little sooner than the gold honey badger, later than the white hot badger, with all the back end you could ever ask for. If you were a fan of the honey badger or the white hot badger, ask yourself now, WHY DO I NOT HAVE A WOLVERINE. The cover is versatile and while this may not be a typical benchmark ball, this ball is certainly one that should be in your carry bags to all events. The all-new 900 Global Wolverine features the Lacerate 2.0 Core wrapped around the S70 Pearl Reactive coverstock. The Wolverine has been one of my favorite releases from 900, this ball is a perfect complement to the Zen and Burner Pearl. The Wolverine helps bridge the gap in between the two offering continuous down-lane motion late in blocks. Go out and get yours today!

My review, its a great ball indeed, I love the way it rolls! After throwing the ball a little, the back end was a little to sharp for me. So I hit the ball with a 3000 pad and I liked it a lot better. All depends on where you play and how they take care of the back ends. I'm a right hander...and right out of the box on fresh clean back ends, yeah, for me...it just snapped a little to much. ok if you got it a little right, but if you tugged it, yeah through the nose all the time. Now after I hit it with a 3000 pad, got a little lane shine on it, I really like it. So if the Reality, then the Altered Reality are a bit to much. The Zen Master and the Zen are a little to much, Grab this Wolverine and it rolls very very nice!

900 Global Wolverine Layout: 55 X 1 X 60 - 1500 grit with factory polished Test drive on SPL lane surface with 46ft THS with a Kegel ION lane machine WOW.. The Wolverine has a serious return on the investment so far. Off the pattern, it looks like a little bowling gnome is standing 4 feet before the rack and the ball goes HARD and STRONG thru the pins. Usually 1 inch pin drillings for me read early, as designed and get super smooth. Well, I was quite surprised by the strong reaction the ball had in the back end. It was not over / under at all during the course of practice and then league. Had 2 other lefties on the pair with me and I just adjusted to the left of where they were playing, to stay clean and still keep striking without losing any carry. So IMPRESSED by the ball, several bowlers ordered and bought Wolverines that night. My one teammate went and drove over 1 1/2 hours to a pro shop that had one in stock the very next day. The Wolverine to me reminds me of the Hyroad Pearl I had a few years ago with a just a tick longer skid, but a stronger overall reaction in the back end. The Wolverine is NOT a SHEEP... Its a KILLER of racks!!!

900 Global Wolverine Cover: 1500-Polished S70™ Pearl Reactive Core: Lacerate 2.0™ (Symmetrical) Color: Navy/Aqua Review: 900 Global really set the mark for symmetric pearls with the popularity of the original Zen. This ball really fills the gap between the Zen and Burner Pearl, almost mimicking hy-road pearl vibes. We are hoping no one overlooks this ball as it really packs a similar punch to the Zen, and yes it is that good. The Wolverine is great late in blocks if your Asym pearl is too much, or if you need to step down from a solid or hybrid cover and want to keep your feet in a similar position. One thing that really stands out and why we compare it to the hy-road pearl is the continuation is incredible and does really seem like it is on a higher level than other bowling balls. The 900 Global Wolverine is incredibly clean and ridiculously sharp down the lane. The modified badger core and pearl S70 cover is one of the easiest balls to get down the lane I have thrown in a while. On a semi broken down house shot, it got back from literally everywhere. It was truly "stand left, throw right", and watch the pins fall. It was every bit as clean as the White Hot Badger was, but sharper down the lane for me. It was a good step down from the Trend 2 when I had to clear the front and mids just a little more. This is THE ball when you need to get through the dry and still create some angle down the lane, it does not disappoint.

Ball Specs: Global Wolverine Cover stock S70 Polished Reactive Weight Block Symmetric Color Navy / Aqua Finish 1500 Polished Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5" Over 1/2 up Rev Rate 300. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed at release 17 Review: The Global Wolverine is a great looking Pearl ball that reads the lane very well. Global shows this to be a flip type ball but for me it has a very nice long motion. I am not sure if it is because of where I have tried the ball to this point but I am seeing more of a control ball than a flip ball. The Wolverine definitely fits into the category for medium conditions and may end up being my benchmark polished ball much like the Ordinance C4 can be a benchmark dull ball. I like using Symmetric balls for a benchmark reaction. The Wolverine fits between my Burner Pearl and Altered Reality in hook potential. It is an easy move to go to the Wolverine when the Altered Reality is too strong. The Wolverine is priced right and as more people see it go down the lane or try it at a ball demo sales should pick up. Summary: The Wolverine reads the lane nicely and drives hard through the pins. There is very little deflection when the ball enters the pocket. This ball should work well for many different styles of bowlers. The Wolverine is a ball that I will use a lot. I love playing left to right, and this ball with its clean cover will work perfect when the lanes are hooking. I have the Wolverine cleaner and weaker than the Zen, but a little stronger than the Trend. It doesn't have a very angular backend motion, but more of a rounded shape. That is good for me, because with my slower speed I like a more controlled shape. This is a ball that you will use before the Hustles or Hyped balls. Whether you have a lot of revs or like to play straighter angles, the Wolverine will be a great choice when you need a clean cover to get down lane. This will be another great 900 Global option! 900 Global has surrounded the S70 Pearl cover over the new Lacerate 2.0 core in the Wolverine. The Lacerate 2.0 core comes with an RG of 2.54 and differential of 0.053. I drilled mine 5.5 x 5 x 3 and my first impressions of throwing this ball is that I creates a different shape that hasn't been see in the 900 Global line in a very long time. This ball creates a lot more shape down lane compared to the Honey Badgers, it actually reminds me more of a Hy Road type motion only stronger. Any medium length patterns later in blocks is where this Wolverine is going to shine the brights because of the core and cover combination. If you need to smoothen out the reaction, don't be afraid to knock some of the shine off of it. Bowlers looking for a ball for later in blocks or higher friction lane surfaces, the Wolverine will be your ball of choice!

This could be something very special...I was a huge fan of the Unhinged from RotoGrip, and this ball kinda has those vibes. This is a symmetrical pearl that glides through the fronts and mids then makes a pretty strong motion down lane. I hit mine with an old 2000 pad just to smooth out the transition a bit and to bring the motion back towards the foul line a bit. This ball is going to be amazing on fronts that are burned up or on wood. Excited for all the honor scores that will be thrown with this piece! Layout for me is: 4.25x5.25x2 Other balls getting a lot of play: Dark Code-4.5x4.25.3.75 UFO Alert-4.5x5x3.75 Altered Reality-4.25x5.25x2

Layout 40 x 4 x 20 Surface: 3000 The new Wolverine brings a new symmetrical core shape to the 900 Global 700 series while bringing out the S70 Pearl coverstock. Long story short, this ball brings the ultimate skid/flip in the 900 Global lineup. I brought the surface down to 3000 in order to tame down the really clean coverstock in the S70 pearl. I also drilled it on the stronger side for me in order to get that same slower overall shape. Due to my ball speed and rev rate, very angular balls don't tend to matchup with my style as much. My Wolverine allows me to be closer to the friction and also allows me to throw the ball directly to the friction faster than I would typically be able to. This ball will come with me on typical house shots that tend to be on the medium to lighter end and sport patterns that are medium to short in length especially in later games. When there is a lot of oil or longer lengths, the Altered Reality or Zen will work better for my style. For those who like that skid/flip motion will really like this ball a lot as it produces a ton of angle off the dry parts of the lane. If you prefer more midlane roll, don't be afraid to take the surface down on this one in order for the ball to slow down quicker. Adam Chase Storm Staff

Wolverine 55 x 5 x 25 This is the perfect compliment to the Zen! This cover feels naturally cleaner than the Zen cover, it goes 3-5 feet longer and pops harder of of the spot! When the Zen gets a little too early and lazy in the back, this ball picks right up where you left off with the Zen! Higher RG core helps it get further down the lane and there is plenty of differential to help create flare potential. This ball reminds me of a new stronger updated Drift! I love it, it will travel with me everywhere I go!

900 Wolverine will be your friend on dry lanes Bowlers Info: RH tweener, PAP 4-1/2 x 7/8 up, 365 RPM, 17* of Axis tilt, 60* of Axis Rotation Ball Layout: 50 x 5.75 x 40 Finish: OOB The release of the Wolverine by 900 brings a dry-lane option to your bag that's does not lack strength or power on the backend. I've been hearing comparisons like it's a step up from the Hyroad pearl. For me, it's like a cleaner, stronger version of the Idol Pearl. The 2.54 RG will naturally get the ball thru the fronts, but the .053 differential tells you it will be storing that energy for the backend and boy does it. I went with a long pin layout that puts is just above and left of my middle finger as I wanted something super clean with great recovery for burned up patterns requiring me to play deeper angles. What I was impressed was, not only the color scheme that has some purple sheen pearl in there you can't see from pics, but this is a very strong pearl I can really open up my angles if I need to and know this ball will come back and hit with energy. So if you're needing a ball for those later games in league without sacrificing strong hitting power, talk to your PSO about the Wolverine! Chris Martinez Storm Amateur Staff www.stormbowling.com

The Wolverine features 2 of 900 Global's most popular cores; the badger and the honey badger with the addition of a dense flip block. This ball is on the higher RG side which is combined with a very clean cover to give a tremendous amount of back end reaction. This ball is great for early hooking surfaces or when the fronts begin to go away. I hit this ball with a 2000 pad to slow it down and find more control in the back end. I am a big fan of this ball as lanes typically hook early for us in the NY region. This is a great step down ball off the stronger asymmetrical or symmetrical pieces such as the Altered Reality or Zen Master.
