With the new Tour Preferred Series, 900 Global brings us the Chemical X. I felt that there was a gap between the Break Down and Boost. The Chemical X definitely fills this void for me. When I need a ball to read the midlane and still have a smooth arc to the pocket, this is it. The Chemical X is like the Break Down, but has a touch more midlane read and a little more on the backend. It's not a huge backending ball, but it definitely doesn't quit once it encounters dry. I saw this ball as a benchmark type ball. Easily used on fresh and when the heads start to read early, I can maintain the line with the Break Down. It will definitely keep you out of trouble and with its backend reaction. Very predictable. One of the best characteristics is its amazing carry for a medium ball. Pins do not stand a chance. The Chemical X is very similar to the Favorite, Sure Thing, or AMF King Cobra (remake). This is definitely one ball that will be a hard one to get out of my hands.
