Track LX16 Bowling Ball

MANUFACTURER’S INTENT Bowlers with lower rev rates need more help from the bowling ball than anyone, the reason we’ve developed the brand new Lx16. In order to achieve our targeted ball motion, we’ve armed the Lx16 with Track’s latest and greatest in both core and coverstock development. COVER Our Track engineers have developed a series of new covers with specific bowling styles in mind. We know that bowlers with the highest rev rates have no trouble getting a ball to turn the corner at the back end of the lane. The opposite is true for those with lower rev rates. We’ve developed our QR (Quick Response) covers specifically for those with lower rev rates or anyone that needs help getting that big move downlane. The Lx16 features our QR-8 Pearl, one of our most aggressive covers. FINISH The Lx16 utilizes a 800/1000/2000/3000 Abralon® factory finish. This finish will provide moderate traction in the mid-lane while maximizing the strength of the Lx16 at the breakpoint on medium to heavy oil patterns. For those who are truly rev challenged, don’t be afraid to adjust the cover down to with a 2000 grit Abralon® pad. OVERALL If we all had a 500 rev rate and could throw the ball 20 mph, there would be no need for high paid engineers in the bowling business. Fortunately for them, the average bowler has a rev rate of 350 rpms or less. Thus the need for balls like the Lx16. Technology has a place in bowling and we’ve put it in the brand new Track Lx16.

I drilled this ball 90x5.5x40. It has alot of length before it makes its transition from skid to hook. Once it starts to read the friction, its gonna go, and you will not stop it. The introduction of the "I-Core" is aswesome. It allows a wide range of styles to find success. I have a very high rev rate. Bowlers with lower rev rates will be able to use this ball quite a bit. It has asymetrical shape,, that acts like a sym for me. I do not always get along with asyms, but I do with this core. The cover is 3k out of the box. I adjusted mine to 4k, and its perfect for patterns like Scorpion, Mark Roth, and heavier kegel patterns
