Track The Heat Remake Bowling Ball

(9 reviews) Write a Review

It's back and in its pure, original form... the Heat! The innovative tri-core technology contains three components: the Rev Core to lower RGs and create a higher rev rate, the Flip Core for increased flare potential and backend transition, and the Balance Core designed to provide increased dynamics throughout the weight range.

I shot a beautiful 690 set (if you can consider 690 beautiful). Polished out of the box to create more skid, this is my first experience with Track products. I've always used Columbia and Storm products and thought a change maybe good. I'm very impressed with what this balls gives me and I'm looking forward to trying more Track equipment in the future. I have yet to have a pearlized ball like this that hits feriously and just destroys the racks. I only sorry that I didn't attempt to purchase any other Track products sooner. Congratulations to Track on a great weapon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A must have in anyone's bag for maximum score.

It's Back!!!!!!!!! Awesome Medium Dry - Dry lane condition ball. I drilled mine with the pin under my ring finger CG shifted a 1/2 an inch right no hole. This ball has nice length and backend reaction. The drilling allowed me to take the squirt out of the ball. The ball seems to arc down the lane while storing enough energy for the back. Due to the volume of oil that is being used nowadays I have only been able to use the Heat on a few occasions but when I have, my results have been very good. If you bowl on burn or just looking for a dry lane resin ball the Heat is an excellent choice. -------------------- John Walther III Track International PBA Eastern Region Staff Member

I drilled my Heat with the pin under the bridge and the cg in the center of my grip. This ball is only a 1" pin in. This Heat is awesome on the house shot. I can play almost anywhere on the lane with slight speed and release adjustments. The Heat also works on tougher conditions when the heads go away. I can get this ball through the front part of the lane with ease and still have enough energy at the pins to carry. I would recommend this ball for someone just moving to reactive, as well as the tournament player looking for a versatile ball<scr

The HEAT is on fire!!! This ball is a must have in your bag. I had this ball drilled pin under the ring with the cg in the middle of my span. This was just the ball I needed to fit between my Slash and Hex-plosion. The ball gave me lots of length and a controlled backend. I needed to hit some dry area to get the ball to come back. If I got anywhere near carrydown, I'd leave weak 10's. If you are looking for length and predictability, this ball is definately for you. Tune in next time for another review....

I never had a Heat when it first came out several years ago, but now I wish I had drilled one then! I drilled this ball with the pin 4-1/2" from my PAP just over my ring finger and left it with the box finish. This ball gave me good length - about the same as my Arsenal Angular, but less than my Crash - and made a very smooth backend reaction that never rolled out. This ball is the smoothest pearl reactive ball I have ever rolled. This makes it perfect on the typical wet-dry house shots where most shiny reactive balls overreact to the dry boards. Great for house shots as they start to break down.

The HEAT is a perfect fit with the existing equipment Track has in its line. The HEAT is currently my "go to" ball when the heads start to go because it ignores dry in the front part of the lane. It easily tames down overreacting backends as well. This was a much needed addition to the bowling ball market right now. Many bowlers wanted to see this and now they have it. I never had the original so I cannot compare the two. If the original was like this ball I am very sorry I did not try it sooner. One of the most noticeable things about the HEAT is the way it hits the pins. When you throw a shot and it hits flush it is a thing of beauty. Crankers will love this ball, strokers will like the stable move on the backend and tweeners have a ball that they can grab and know exactly what it is going to do. The only negative about the HEAT is that when oil is present down the lane (long pattern or carrydown) it is not the ball to use. I do not see that as a negative though,

I drilled mine pin above the ring finger. 4 1/2 X 4 1/2. I have average ball speed and revs. On a fresh house pattern there was just too much oil unless I went to the gutter. Ball clears the front part of the lane very easily, even when the pattern was breaking down. The Heat for me has a smooth continuous backend that is very controllable the more I moved in as the pattern wore down. I could get basically as deep as I needed and the ball would recover. Definitely not as strong as the Angular Arsenal on the backend of the lane but very controllable.

The HEAT, what can I say about this ball.... This ball is absolutely great, I love the length the ball gives off with a great smooth backend to it... Its not too jumpy just a smooth arc... My HEAT is drilled 5 1/2" by 4 1/2", pin 2 1/2 above midline, balance hole 21/32" 1" deep... Surface out of box hit with Clean and Smooth, then Delayed Reaction... This ball feeds the great length that I was looking for, great ball for those short patterns and sport shots that push you to play up the rail... The ball is very readable, and does not over react on you... this ball fit perfectly just below my Hex-Plosion, this heat became my longest ball in my bag, and I love it....It is a must have if you need that extra length, and for those High Rev players, looking for something that is not jumpy in the backs, this is the ball for you...also looking for that ball to clear through the track area without burning up, here is is folks, get your hands on it while it is hot..... That is my review for t
