Being a pro shop operator and knowing how tough times were for Storm when this ball was introduced I was hesitant to even carry Storm equipment because I was having to sent too many of them back with cracks and the weight block separating from the cover and so forth. But now that everything is grand and Storm just stands by its products 100% I am now going to become a VIP pro shop for them. In any event with becoming a VIP pro shop I brought it upon myself to become familiar with the balls that I would be carrying. I drilled this ball with the pin up 5 inches from axis and the MB at 45 degrees and let me tell you this is the most predictable ball I own, I couldn't believe that the cover was particle for this type of consistency. I am able to play the lane from many angles with different rev rates and the ball just springs to life once it finds friction. This ball is always in my bag for every tournament and league session. Wonderful ball.

I never understood why this ball never gained the popularity that the original X-Factor and the Duece got. At the old center I used to bowl at, this ball worked beautifully. You couldn't arc it a whole lot, but the RE-Loaded was a beast for playing up the boards. I loved the entry angle that I hit the pocket with when I threw this ball. Also, as forgiving as it was, all I really had to do was throw it with a consistent speed and the rest was done for me. The only thing I disliked about the RE-Loaded was that I couldn't use it on many different lane conditions. It's not really a ball one would describe as "versatile."

Overall this ball is awesome! Storm did a great thing creating this ball. Anytime you can get a ball that will save all its energy for the end then its going to be an awesome ball. The Re-loaded does exactly that. The coverstock on the ball is actually supposed to save all of the energy for the reaction on the backends. I have a factory finish polish on my ball right now because even though it already has alot of length i just needed a little more. Like i said though, DONT OVERTURN THIS BALL!If you overturn this ball then it sometimes like to stick a couple of 8s. but all in all great job storm on coming up with a great smelling and reacting ball!

15+ revs 17 mph ball speed This ball is an animal ive had it for about a month and ive shat my high series with it 210-222-202 634 and my high score with it 244 this ball hits like a truck and it almost never leaves a corner pin. All of the pins stay real low and really mix it up which is probably why it carries so well. ive gotten strikes on the head pin so many times with this it is insane. this ball lookes real good especiaaly polished and it is the best smelling ball i have ever had the pleasure of smelling. Anyone looking for hook this is your ball. Another great ball from storm<scri

Rolls up easily and strong, never sacrificing backend power, also carries very well. I got it drilled with my favorite drilling, the pin above the ring finger with an extra weight hole. The first 10-20 games you must be patient, because out of the box, I wasn't impressed. After that, the 700's came rolling in, and then finally the big one, 847, including a 300 game. This is my first storm ball in awhile, and Iike what I see in this ball. a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a

The Reloaded is pretty much a more predictable X Factor. They both have a lot of length but the Reloaded doesn't have an unpredictable turn like the original. You can use this for heavy oil, but you have to play slower in order for it to hook in time. This ball is okay, but it only works on one condition and that is a fresh medium shot with clean backends. Although I am not a stroker, I imagine the Reloaded would be better for them because I saw Pete Weber use it in the Medford Open last year and he was playing up the boards that day. So overall this ball is condition specific for crankers but it is a stroker's dream.

Ball specs: Pin 2" Top 2.43 Drilling: Pin 4" from PAP with RAD in track (Pin, RAD, CG in line) No balance hole, balanced out to zero for the side weight Out of the box matte finish still in tact This is my second Re-Loaded. I was going to grab a cheap one from www.buddiesproshop.com but they were out of them. So I walk into my pro shop only to find that Stepp's Pro Shop just grabbed a bunch of them. Right then I knew I am supposed to have another one. This piece just revs up with NO early hook for me. Have used to play a straight fall back condition where it took +40 for 8 games to win and -55 was 10th. Have also thrown on wood and synthetic surfaces when the track is jumpy. The layout makes the ball rev up but with the RAD in the track is does not want to go psycho when it touches the dry. A great drilling for a power player looking for a layout that will help open the back ends up but at the same time provide a smooth line to the hole.

i am so happy that it has been discontinued. The ball was a peice and didnt do shyt for me. No matter how much hand i put in the ball it just sat, and sat, and sat, and sat, and then just as it hit the pins, then it flipped. I had it drilled to go long and hit hard, but the ball just went long and never decided to flip...The only day this ball actually worked for me was when the shot was like drier than the desert and it was like whoa. ball is gone for me and gone to a betta place

I won this ball in a NABI tournament. The first one I had was drilled with the RAD in the track area. The ball had a 4" pin and the RAD was really kicked out to the weak side. I had a real hard time with this ball. The lanes in my home house ate it and they replaced it. The new ball is a 1.5 - 2.5" pin with the RAD in a stronger position. This layout really works better for the way I throw the ball. The ball is pretty good, but the bozo behind it has trouble sometimes. When I can get this ball to the hole, look-out. Hits hard, rolls consistent. It works well on lighter oil for me.

I've been using the Brunswick Ulitmate and Blazing infernos for the past two months or so and thought I'd give Storm a try after seeing Pete Weber use one to win the 61st U.S. Open. I'm so glad I did. It hits hard if not harder than my Infernos. In the past 5-10 practice games using the Re-Loaded, I've rolled two personal bests of 210 and 239. I'm not a cranker, but more of a stroker and I believe it will hook when it has to whatever your bowling style. This ball has given me so much confidence since getting into this sport. I guess I'll have to use my Infernos as a spare balls. Sorry Brunswick. :))

I bought this ball hoping it would pick up where the Deuce left off, I was so wrong. I don't know know if it was my or the ball at first when I bagan noticing I was leaving more 7 pins then I'd like, I didn't like the delay before the snap, so I replugged + redrilled the entire ball, also sanding it down... Now it's not so bad, there still is a little delay but the ball does carry for my house condition and I am looking forward for the Triple X-Factor. - Good for Medium to heavy oil..

Some people can make a particle ball work and others cannot. I cannot. I could not make this ball finish if there was even the slightest bit too little oil. In oily conditions, I found I had to clean the ball frequently, slow down my approach, slow down my ball speed by almost 1mph, and lay the ball down within 1 foot of the foul line. Also, if my thumb was even a little slow out of the ball, this seemed to make a big difference in the ball's reaction. Nothing aginst Storm, but I'd love to sell it.

I threw this ball the first game I got it about 15 out to the 5 and the ball came back every time I ended up shooting a 245 with opening in the 10th. Then after that I shot a 180 and ended with a 148. I went to practice after that and I shot 248, 235, and a 185 for a 670 set. I had moved my mark to the 5 and just let it sail down 3/4 of the lane and it would come back like a freight train.Overall this ball is very strong and is very variable for almost any bowler.

I love this ball. I bowl in 2 leagues in one night, and I can throw this ball all 6 games. I can throw it up the ditch and rip the rack when the lanes are tight. As they break down, this ball has enough length and recovery to play as deep as you need, I could carry the ten pin from inside the fifth arrow. This ball hits harder than any ball I have ever thrown. I don't know why very few people have this ball. I reccomended this ball to a friend and he shot 289 his first game with it, and he isn't that good. If you have a little hand this ball destroys the pins on a light hit, and annhialates them on a flush hit.

This was a very good bowling ball. It performed greatly on almost all conditioins and was extremely easy to control. Had a really nice late arc to it. This ball hit extremely hard and carries better than any other ball that I had used. Defenenstly a backend ball if anything, but not very snappy. The only problem that I encountered is that this ball was very similar to my polished core power LRG, which meant I did not want to keep this ball, so I sold it.One thing is that I would really like to see this cover on more balls from storm, the RE-Load particle. I have not seen on any other balls yet, and I am still waiting. And for the ratings: Hook: 75/100 (Very good hook) Backend: 85/100 (Had alot of backend with control) Length: 80/100 (Goes very long)

Well ever since I got this ball it has worked really well, and has so far held up and I have no sign of it dying or tracking up on me yet. Ive got over 100 games on it and so far so good. I bowl in the juniors league in Superior WI, at Landmark Lanes, and Village Lanes. Ive through 754, and 728 with the ball. I like it, youve got alot of room to play around with it. I mean if you miss your shot by a couple boards left or a couple boards right it's pretty sure it will still hold up and hit the pocket anyways.

Have two of these balls one is out of box finish one is polished. Dull one: I have this drilled in my favorite pattern Pin under ring finger with cg kicked outside of grip bout 3 inches and down near thumb. It is a 15lb with 4in pin and low top weight. 0 0 p cg 0 the only difference in this drilling and the polished is the polished is a 6.5in pin and it is about an inch above the bridge with cg in same spot. The out of box finish one is a monster it get through heads clean but makes really strong move in mid lane. and crushes pocket on med to med heavy conditions. As the polished one with that drilling gets quite a bit more length and screams on back end. and is more for med to med light. All in all these two are great balls for the price and i have multiple award scores with them both. Great ball by storm!!!!!<scri

Overall i give this ball a 6 for me. maybe it works better for other people. Back end is hard enough i have to tend to get it out round 13 board for it to be a pocket shot. the carry is decent but i leave ten pins occasional. Im consitering getting a inferno or a fear factor, they both look great. Reloaded isnt the ball for me, im not the only person that hasnt been impressed with this ball. At the start of every 3 game set when the lanes are pretty heavily oiled I get to play around the center of the lane and send the ball out around the 6 board. The ball has never not come back from there, all I have to do to make a change on the lanes is move a few boards left. When I bowl in tournaments around the state I am often forced to go way left when I use the Re-Loaded, which neither me or the ball has a problem with. I get great carry with this ball. The pins stay low and on light or half pocket hits I can usually trust that something will take out any pins left standing.<

I play on synthetic lanes with a long and generous oil pattern. I was looking for a ball to compliment my X-factor. (I play the 10 board from around the 15-17board, approx. 16 mph with med. revs) What I found 1st time out of the box was a ball with Slightly more response in the oil. The ball hits a ton, but to get it there with my normal line I had to slow down and move back. Not adjustment I care for. I tried a more direct line (playing the 10 board from 10, but miss your mark and you better pray. I think I will try to dull it with 800 to get it to turn sooner. Overall I think there may have been a better ball for me, but I like the smell so much, I sand it and get it to work...hopefully<sc

This ball does just as it says. Hits hard and just keeps on coming. Shreds the pocket and then some. Great ball for aggresive players who like the big hook. This ball will turn when most die out. Most impressed about how forgiving this ball really is. If you miss your mark to the outside, the ball just comes in even harder. There is no other out there, that I have purchased, that performs as well as this creation. I would highly recomend this ball to anyone who needs more hook in their game. Just don't be surprised when this ball flips and heads straight for the pocket. Doesn't leave a lot of splits and single pins. This ball is not good for picking up spares on the right side of the lane (left side if your are a lefty).

This ball looks great when polished and goes longer while still hooking. The ball has a great smell. The ball tracks out very slowly and hits very hard. When there is oil on the lane, does not matter what part of the lane your playing or what type of bowler you are, you could take this ball out and it will work for anybody. Unlike most particle balls I have over 250 games on it and have not resurfaced the ball yet and it still works everytime. This ball leaves room for error and carries flush or light pocket hits almost everytime.

Like I said before I own a x-factor Deuce and it is a allsome ball to have but mine is old and I need a new ball. The x-factor Reloaded is a ball by itself. With the pearl particle shell and a strong weight block it will have a super strong backend motion. My ball has 3.25 top, 3 inch pin. It is drilled to go long and have a nice backend recovery. The pin is above my fingers with the (cg) center of gravity kicked to the right and the (Rad) in a strong postion, About 7/8 side weight. So this ball is very nice. I put some polish on it and the ball will rip the rack. Compared to the original x-factor it will have = length, less pop but more hit. Compared to the Deuce it will go about 7 feet longer and have more pop also cover more boards. So if you want another good ball from (Storm) get the Reloaded for heavy or medium oil it will open up the backend. Also drill it correctly. I give it a 9.5 for being so strong and aggressive on the backend.

Needed a compliment to my Erase-It, which is more of a continuous bender, and might be getting a little tired. Sorry, I'm no techno geek for drill stats, but the my ring hole is 1/4 into the bottom of the PIN, CG is 5/8" below and 1&3/8" left of my span centerline, RAD is slightly below and 1&7/8" left of my thumb, counter hole 1" below and 3&3/4" left of span center line. I'M LEFT HANDED!! I usually average 200-205, but am a little down so far this year at 196. I stand 20-ish and roll 6-8-ish. Medium+ speed with about 18-20 revs (I guess?). I generally use the old "Suit Case" grip, but will play with cupping and/or coming around the side when more drive is needed. I had too much over-under with the Erase-It this year, and was looking for something that worked in a different part of the lane. This ball does EXACTLY what I wanted. Reads very well through the heads, cruises long, breaks very strong but with no wild snap, and hits like a 500lb'er! Heavy... light, whatever... it's To

this ball is truly a great ball for me. the guy who drills my balls said he drilled it for slighty earlier hook so i could have a little more reaction on certain lanes. i didnt think he would actually doit and it would seem so great. this ball has helped up my game another level and taken me closer in my goal of being a pro bowler. cant really say nothing bad about this ball. i can even pick up 7 pins with this, and yes i am left handed. only problem is i wear my fingertips out too fast on the bowling ball, but the ball forever rules....i learned to ramble and it worked this time
