I got this ball used and just plugged and redrilled the thumb. I polished and it works very well on medium to medium dry lanes. Sanded it and works very well on heavily oiled lanes. I picked up hard splits with this ball 7 and 9 splits, 6 and 7 splits. I am not saying this is just good for spare pick-ups. This ball is really good as soon as you open the line for this ball all you got to do is throw it and it will give you good results. If you need a ball for heavy to medium oily lanes you need this one. It is just hard to find this ball.

Incredible ball pin action is amazing first tournament i played in we won 1st so im happy with the result of how it played and how i threw the ball. once lanes break down you need to change your foot spot where you stand on the approach and move one or two boards over on your target area. good ball for heavy to medium oil i found it worked better for me in under heavy oil too more medium oil. nothing else really to say here about this ball but in dry conditions you know the drill. if anyone has any ideas on other balls i should look at i throw down the eight board and stand at the 16-14 boards. email me at bretton_mackay@yahoo.com . i would greatly apprecitate it.

When the lanes have a very long pattern with the heaviest of oil and nothing in your arsenal can even move, the ER will cure your problems. This isn't the type of oil ball that hooks early and doesn't recover. It actually creates all of its energy in the midlane and than makes its instant move. The ER can be played at multiple angles and recovers at all of them. From the widest to the tightest. What I really like is that it is a reactive not a particle that doesn't recover. Reactives make the ball more durable and versatile with drillings and surface preparation. When the lanes break down, put this ball away, it's a brooklyn gaurantee but that wouldn't shock you anyway. Although the Trauma ER only works in very heavy oil out of the box, it is a very impressive ball and I would recommend it the most to crankers who really want to see a ball move in oil like they would want to, but it still works in oil for everyone.

The ball has the weirdest layouts i have ever seen, the cg is in the palm and is offset to the right. The Pin is 7in it is kicked out all the way to the right. The ball is clean through the heads and then flips with force into the pocket. I have'nt used it on fried lanes yet and i hope i dont have to. Another great ball by storm The first time in league i shot a 936 for 4 games the last 3 added up 2 742 i shot 279 184 279 the first game i shot a 194 but then i found a line and it worked but then we switch lanes every gameorm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm S

I bought this ball used, drilled it and found I couldn't keep it on the lanes ( dry lane conditions - my best shot was with a Blue Dot). Well, last year they started oiling the lanes much better than they used to, but I kinda forgot about this ball, because I was having good luck over the second arrow with my Too Hot. Well, this year they put more oil on the outside. So, I decided to bring out the Trauma ER, 691 and I blew a few shots in the third game, could have had a good 700. Great ball. I wish I could find a new one some place!

TRAUMA ER - Of all the balls I tried...this is one of the ball that matches my release. It's just like a perfect combination. My average went up by 30 pins. The fragrance of the ball is good. The hitting power it's unbeleivable. Though sometimes it leaves the 10 pin, I guess because of too much power. And also, don't use it on dry lanes. One of the best bowling ball storm made. Sends pins to ER! Sends pins to ER! Sends pins to ER! Sends pins to ER! Sends pins to ER! Sends pins to ER! Sends pins to ER!

This ball is incredable. Once this ball gets reved up the is absolutely no stoppin it. It has some good lenght to it with an un matched smash into the pocket. I got mine when they were new and it still hits like it was new. I only got one of them, and they dont make them any more =-( . Oh and dot even think about using this ball on any lane conditions with less than medium oil. If anyone of you out there happen to come accross one of these for sale you should buy it. this ball is unstoppable.

overall i think if you could really find a lane that has that much oil this ball would be very useful, but i cant. i take off revs and the ball still snaps like a beast. the man who told me how the drilling should be said it would be a mild reaction that would gently arc into the pocket well NO. this ball goes down and then wham snaps harder than anything i got. i guess the only lane i will be able to try this on is the sport shot league i have on mondays. just maybe it wont take off on those lanes

The ball has some of the most awesome finishing power that I have ever seen and since I have been bowling I have seen a ball the likes of the Phenon and others and the ball's hit is comparible to the Phenom line, specifically the Animal and the Unleashed, even the original. It has good movement in the pocket and finishes very nicely. It is a great ball for medium to heavy oil and kills the pins when it goes for the strike. The ball tracks out very nicely and has a lot of durability. The ball will make you a very consistent bowler and it makes a stroker look like a cranker.

IT TOOK ME A COUPLE OF GAMES TO GET THE FEEL. THIS BALL IS A MEAN, SICK HITTER. EVEN WHEN I MISSED MY NORMAL PLACE IN THE POCKET IT STILL CARRIED THE DAY. WHEN THE HEADS STARTED DRYING UP I MOVED MORE TO THE RIGHT AND HIT THE MARK I WAS STILL STRIKING. IT WAS NICE TO WATCH AS IT WENT DOWN THE ALLEY. IF YOUR NEW TO BOWLING LIKE I AM THIS BALL WILL MAKE YOU LOOK GOOD. IT ALSO MAKES YOUR BAG SMELL GOOD ALSO. I ALSO HAD THIS BALL DRILLED FINGER-TIP. SO IT HAD A GREAT CONSISTANCE HOOK TO THE POCKET. THE FIRST GAME I ROLLED MY AVERAGE, EVERY GAME AFTER I ROLLED 30 PINS OVER MY AVERAGE. STORM MAKES GOOD STUFF.

I have heard a lot about this ball and read everyone's reviews about it and had to find out for myself. I thought about buying this ball when it came out but I had just gotten the original Trauma a short time before so I didn't want to overdo it and get another one until I got used to the Trauma. I have a pretty good arsenal of Storm bowling balls starting from my very first...Thunder then the Blue Thunder, the Bolt, and El Nino (which I think is very over-rated), then the Trauma, but I skipped the Trauma ER and got the Core Power LRG (which helped me in the light to medium oil)instead. What was I thinking? I waited too long to get the ER, I should've gotten it alot sooner. In just two weeks I have averaged 217 and had series of 647 and 656. Yes, it helps being a southpaw but it has that effect with both sides from what I've read. This ball reads the lane perfectly and hits the breakpoint with more power than any other Storm ball that I've used. I also bought one for my fiancee who al

Wow that ball smells good, for a long time. I keep it in the bag with my shoes and I'm sure you can assume why. But back to the things bowlers actually care about..... the ball hits like a truck. Not too much slide, reads the mid lane well, but still has power in the backend. Doesn't hook as much as storm makes it out to, but it definately makes a strong move to the pocket. If you are reading the review because you are in the market and are considering the ER I say to you, if you don't have one, get one or tell me where I can buy another.

I really love this ball even though it has lost some of its hook over the years that I have had it. This ball may be the ultimate control ball, not to mention the extreme versatility of the ball. You can throw this ball on almost any shot, just with some minor adjustments. Med-Heavy oil is probobly this balls strong suit, but it can really truly be used on almost any condition lighter than that thrown on. It also hits very VERY hard and has exceptional carrying power. If you can find this ball, any where, new or used, I would very strongly reccoment getting it. The smell is also great on this ball! And now for the Ratings: Hook: 75/100 (Pretty Good) Breakpoint: 40/100 (Smooth) Length: 60/100 (Midlane)

This ball is very loyal to the lanes. Although it's carry is somewhat quite, the only advice I can offer is to stay behind your shot and really project an early roll to carry all 10. The best thing I like about the ball is that it does go long to give one a lot of area for a good pocket hit, however, this is another reason for leaving too many unwanted 10 pins. The highest average I have achieved by the usage of this perticular ball is 215.00. Also, keep this ball polished because it generally does not last long.

Ive had this ball for a few days now Ive prolly already played over twenty games with it and I just cant seem to put it down, This ball has raised my avg. by at least 15 pins and am I ever happy about it! Not to mention the ball smells great and doesnt look to shabby either even though Im not real big on purple. The ball has great reaction in the backend causing explosive pin action usually even if I miss my mark I dont leave to many pins which is a definite plus. This ball makes me wish all medium / heavy oil balls were built the same. I love it and Im sure if you pick it up you will too. The trauma er is definitely worth every penny.

Terrific ball, Storm makes an Awesome Ball. I'm sticking with them forever! The key to rolling a storm ball is the speed and type of shot you want to shoot. I used to play only the outside shot and was terrified of the inside. Not anymore, I can play whatever shot I want now, thanks to Storm!!!! I also use the Trama ER, boy does this ball smell great. My El Nino dosen't have a smell to it but I love the way it sounds when it hit the pins. Can't wait to get my hands on the X-Factor or the new released X-Factor Reloaded. The TRAMA ER has a tremendous amout of energy left in it when it hits, what more can I say it's just an awesome ball and I'm totally impressed by how stable the ball rolls when the lanes change. You really can't throw this ball wrong!

I advice for you bowlers to get teh Trauma ER havent got a ball like that. It gave me confident that i can string strikes and i feel more comfortable in every shot. High game High Series what else you want to ask for. My percentage in having a 200 game is almost 80 percent of my original game. But advice is you still have to practice a lot to perfect your shot. Still the key is practice without practice you cant say if the ball you have is right for you or not. The ball is very good in all lanes conditions...PERFECTO!!!

I love this ball, even the smell. It makes the smell of bowling shoes disappear. : ] I have the ball drilled 4 1/4 with an axis hole on the PAP to open up the lane. Man does it ever. The first time i threw the ball I set it down at 25 crossed at 18 went out to 8 and when I expected the ball to roll out it EXPLODED into the pocket like a ton of bricks. I've thrown balls that hit hard, but this one clears out anything in it's path. Also with the more extreme angle of entry into the pocket I have not had any problems with leaving 9 or 10 pins. I recommend this ball to everyone.

I own 8 storm balls, and have yet to find one that I don't like. I can't say that for any other ball company. Remember the XS ball. I'm still reeling over that spent money. Storm as been impressive since the Thunder Road, I still on occassion throw that ball and love it. The Trauma ER is another quality ball added to the long line of storm success. The ER is a quality ball for any quality league/ comp bowler. Intense back end, strong hook potential and wild pin action. Anything possable for this ball. This one even looks good going down the lane . I'm still getting used to the scents in these new storms, but hey I guess it could be worse!!! Buy IT

Couldn't wait to use it. Bowled five games after it was drilled:134,199,205,225,278 (left the 6-10 in the fourth)! Needless to say this ball takes care of business. As soon as I found my shot this ball took care of the rest. I have a good feeling this ball will give me my first 300 since the first day out I beat my old high game of 267. I just might buy another one before Storm decides to put it on the shelf which I hpe thy don't do! So ifyur wondering which ball t buy look no further than the ER. It will give youthat neded edge you have been lookng for.

Great ball once you get the surface set right for you and your house. I use this ball until the pattern breaks down, then switch over to my blue messenger ball. Since this ball breaks about 5-8 boards more than the messenger it allows me to move back to my original spot and start over. A difficult ball to shoot spares with though, I've had people tell me it actually takes an "S" route if I try to shoot a ten pin with it. I actually have to throw the ball with a "backup ball" release. The ball goes down and pulls slightly to the right, then straightens out. After a short rollout the weight block takes over and it's off to the left again. Usually just missing the ten. Definitely use a "spare" ball in conjunction with this one. Or, just throw strikes....

GREAT BALL RECOMMEND IT. GREAT PIN ACTION. THE BALL IS GREAT FOR TOURNAMENTS AND LEAGUES. THE BALL IS EASY TO CONTROL AND IS VERY FORGIVING IF THROWN WRONG. IF YOU HAVE AN APPETITE FOR HIGH AVERAGE THEN THIS IS A GREAT INVESTMENT. LIKE I SAID I HAVE NEVER MADE THE CUT IN ABT AND I BOWLED MY TOURNAMENT WITH THIS BALL AND BOWLED A 751 SERIES. I AM STILL LOOKING FOR MY FIRST PERFECT GAME AND I KNOW THIS BALL WILL BE THE ONE TO GIVE IT TO ME THAT GAME. THE BALL IS INEXPENSIVE AND WILL BENEFIT YOU IN THE LONG RUN. FANTASTIC BALL!!!
