Great ball for those of us that have a slower roll. I am not sure how the ball react with a faster and harder throw. The ball reacts further down the lane then my Diesel Particle and I like that. It tends to be forgiving when I throw in. Although it does not have the aggression that most of the other heavy hitters that storm has it still gets you to the mark. Don't think for a second that this ball will not come back when being thrown outside, it snaps and fools you. So I would recommend this ball to anyone that wants or needs a good rolling ball that will get you to the pocket.

I LOVE MY STORM SPITFIRE AND NOW THE THUNDERSTRUCK. THEY BOTH REACT WITH OUT VIOLENT JUMPS IN THE DRY BACK END. THE SMELL OF THE APPLE CINNAMON AND CHERRY FRAGRENCE IS ALSO A NICE ADDITIVE. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO PLAY SECOND ARROW IN MY LEAGUE MORE, BUT THE OIL ON THE LANES BURNS UP SO FAST. THAT'S THE REASON WHY I PURCHASED THIS BALL WITH A LARGER PIN DISTANCE. IM DISAPPOINTED THAT THE BALL HOOKS JUST AS MUCH AS THE SPITFIRE DOES. MY NEXT PURCHASE FROM STORM WILL BE A BALL THAT IS DRILLED FOR MAX HOOK SO I CAN PLAY MORE OF A HOOK WHEN THE OIL BREAKS DOWN.

Lovin' It!!! This is truly my ball of choice recently. Very few lane conditions that it cannot be used on. Very versatile and extremely forgiving. Because of the smooth strong arc it is much easier to control and adjust than a flipping ball and this coverstock is great for getting the necessary length without sliding by the pocket. For the time period and the price, this is definitely the ball to have. I can see my average coming up and my games being much more consistent. I worship the engineer at Storm that came up with the match of this weight block and coverstock combination. As for the scent, it brings back memories of opening my book of lifesavers from my stocking at Christmas as a kid.

It may a bit early for me to post a review on this ball, but from what I've seen from it, it's gonna' be the perfect addition to my arsenal. As you can probably tell from my screen name, I love my Shift. This ball has about the exact break point and break point shape when the lanes dry up a bit. I can already tell it's gonna' be an easy transition from one ball to the other. As I said, the scent can be a bit overpowering at times, especially if you forget it in the car on a warm day. But making your car smell like cherries is a small price to pay for a great goto ball that still has a monster backend! Nice Job Storm, you came through again! Update: The time finally came to break out the TSP last night. It was the last night of my summer league and we were playing for the championship. It's a late league and the lanes were burnt badly. I knew in practice that there was no way I could throw my Shift, so I went to the TSP. This was the first time I put a full game on it, b

Ball plays well on medium conditions, have met with success on heavy oil playing down and in. Only drawback with hi-revs is ball is so angular that off pocket shots result in ugly leaves. but when its right tomohawking pins is really cool. If you play on heavy oil conditions you may want to think about the thunderstruck the solid cover plays better on that condtion. I have about 300 games on this ball you will want to keep it clean and tacky for a consistant reaction. when dirty this ball as any polished ball will tend not to finish

The ball is the best ball for the dollar you pay. The best mid line series out in my opinion. The ball is a perfect compliment to the purple thunderstruck. If you have any kind of hand and want somethin that you dont have to worry about checkin up on you on dry conditions this the ball. It has a ton of recovery on the backend and jus destroys the pins when it hits the pocket. On oil you can move outside and play the track area and the ball will work. When the lane gets burned out you can take the ball and move inside and still hit with power. The ball never loses energy. Its unbelievable<scri

I am a cranker, and i throw it about 16 to 18 mph. I had my Thunderstruck Pearl drilled to go long and snap, and this ball does just that. This ball is clean through the heads, and has an incredible backend snap for me. The look of this ball is sweet. One of the best looking balls out, and the fragrance is excellent. I have been averaging over 200 ever since i have had this ball. This would be a great ball for any bowler of any type. If you dont wanna spend all that money for the high performance or max performance bowling balls, go with this ball, it is just as good as them.

I am a new bowler and this is my first ball, I had a 15lb brunswick and my average was 101. Frist game out of the box with this ball threw a 118. My highest score ever is a 129. The hook on this ball not to early, breaks at the perfect point. Not to much hook for me, other people can hook it more, so if you like a ball with hooking action (varies depending on the bowler) then this is a ball I reccomend you try. Only played with it one night can't wait to see how this ball can perform on all different types of lane conditions.
