I got this ball drilled for less hook, but it still hooked good on med-heavy oil. It works better on medium oil though. This ball also may hook earlier than expected for a pearl ball. This ball will NOT hook an absolutely flooded lanes. Out of the box I shot a 229 and it's had its slump, but after trying to sell it on ebay, I decided to use it again. I actually bought this ball about a while ago, but didn't get it drilled until Sperember ago. If you are still looking for one, you can get them at bowlingballmall.com. This ball also smells AWESOME!!! Now I can't wait for the Depth Charge, which uses the same cover.

THis is how good this ball is.... A few months ago I got this ball off of ebay, The bad part about it was the fact it was a used ball and had been drilled once and pluged up... Then drilled again.... I only had to pay 9.99 to get it so i said what the H@LL and just get it.... I never got the ball pluged and drilled for my hand span.. So When i got to the lane tht night I said there no way this ball is going to work , Boy was i wrong...... This ball is one of the best balls I have ever seen storm make.... I love this ball .... I went From a 150 - 195 average just in one week of useing this ball.. Now its the only thing i have in my bag......

ball is driled with a power stack and it clears the heads and then charges like its nothing, i have done alot with this ball, i won my first sunshine junior tour title with this ball, ive thrown a 266,259, and my first 700 which was 713 i have also reccomended this ball to my dad and he throws this ball more than he ever threw anything and everyone likes the smell of watermelon the ball also looks cool when it rolls down the lane but the ball has only been a success and its been the best ball i have ever own

Good overall ball for any lane thats going thru a transition. I haven't had any problems with the finish. I actually forgot my spare ball at a local tournament and it can also double as a good spare ball because it will go so long. It could hit a little harder.IF your looking for a ball with a lot of distance and good finish. this ball my help your all around game.We used just a normal pin over cg under type of drilling to get a little skid snap. I play in between the first and second arrows

Excellent control, extreme power and cool hook. I used this ball every time i bowled with my friend who had it with him. Mostly used it to see if I wanted one. At one time I did want one but I got the Trauma Recovery. Anyway, it is constantly consistant and I can have excellent aim with it. I put about 15 revs on the ball when I used it on the medium to heavy oil. I loved it and don't want one for myself anymore because I had the Trauma and Trauma Recovery. Its cool. Its cool. Sweet ball!!!!!

This is the ball I go to when the heads break down. I have a low track and can usually clear the heads on my own, but this ball does it for me. It goes looooong and makes a strong recovery. Hits hard and carries extremely well. I do not have to move real deep to get it to stay on line. I love the roll on this ball. I drilled this ball to have a mellow reaction, I did not expect it to actually be able to detroy the pocket. Was just looking for a ball to go to when the lanes break down and still be able to hold pocket. I got great carry and awesome hitting power while still having a mellow reaction and great roll.

My SPP is drilled with the PIN just right of and below my ring finger. The CG is in the palm and there is not weight hole. The ball has a pearl cover which allows it go long and retain energy for the pins. The SPP has a very nice arcing motion to its hook. It doesn't overreact on the dry and is extremely versatile. I haven't done a thing to the cover except clean it and keep the polish up on it. A great ball for Medium to medium hvy lane conditions. Don't fight it though. If there is too much oil out there then change balls.

I had this ball drill for dry lanes. The pin is 5" form cg and 1" above my fingers. Not a drill patten for every one. If there is a little head oil and I stay behind the ball, I can play 20 out to 10 or 5 boards. When that goes away I just lower the ball track and it scoots way down the lane. This ball drilled like this is great for dry lanes. I find that if there is to much oil the break point gets to about 50 feet and the ball make a sharp left. Leaving many 3/6 spares. Like any ball these days it's more about when to put it back in the bag.<

Well i own the Super Power Pearl, if you havn't noticed already. It ball is beastly and it rolls real nice for me. One of the best i've thrown. Buy one today, they're cheap good balls. The only downside is the particle coverstock. I'd much rather perfer Resin. The Super Power Pearl is great for playing 15 to 10 and S L A M into the pocket. It has a great backend and is anothe excellent product from Storm. If your going to buy a particle ball, the Super Power or the Super Power Pearl should be it.

Great for Mid-Range, to higer caliber bowler's, Worth the money! not really for the lower caliber or beginner bowler's, i have mine drilled up, with the Pin just above the middle finger, with the CG kicked out....I have over 120 game's with it...it still react's like it did when i came out of the box, havent resurfaced it...only put a light polish on it, when the house that i bowled at, changed the shot up on me....other than that, it is a very predictable ball. Dosent over skid too much, and if it dose, your only really gunna leave 2 to 4 pin spare's...even through the nose, it still has tremendous carry. I've thrown this ball in leage for more than a year...carried a 200 avg. ever since i put it back in my League arsenal. STORM FOREVER!

As I said, the Super Power Pearl is by far the best carrying ball I have ever had. Having over 60 games on it so far, I'm still inpressed on how hard it hits. Going thru the heads like there is a lot of oil ( even when there is not.) Breaking back to the pocket with lots of energy. I wold recomend this ball to anyone. The big crankers, down and inners, and full rollers. This ball will get the job done and have fun doing it. And we all know it is a lot more fun throwing strikes then shotting at the corners all night long. I hope that this has help with what this ball can do. I will do a follow up on this ball when I have close to a 100 games on it. So far what I see is it going to still be the best ball in my bag.

If you really think this ball has too much back end trade it in and go get a house ball. this is an awsome ball with TONS of hitting power. i will say that i have gotten stung by a few ice cold 8 pins but everyone gets it once in a while. it gets through heads clean as long as you have the hand to do it and when it hits its break point i think it leaves skid marks on the wood cause it just jumps into the hole and blows the rack apart. This is the first ball i have from the Storm line but i plan on going back to them again in the future. im impressed and im sure anyone with a clue would be as well.

This is a Great ball. Hits real hard and has great carry. It does go long thru the heads and hooks hard on the backend. Would recommend this ball to any one for the people just starting out to the best. (Pete Weber) With the differant drill options this ball will fit any style of bowling. If you have a Meduim to Heavy oil pattern this Super Power will work great. If you have Short oil and lot of backend, this is not the ball to bring out. It will hook off the lane. If you are tired of shooting solid 7 or 10 pins this ball will take out more than it share and then some. Gook Luck and good bowling.

This ball is Simply the best plain and simple. My favorite ball. I had this one drilled with the pin over my ring finger cg stacked directly under the pin. I get good length from this ball and a great backend movement. I havent yet found a condition that had "some" oil on the lanes that I couldnt hit with this ball. Its is a very versatile ball in my eyes. And of course the smell of Watermelon is great when you arent having too good of a game! If you are looking to step up to a high performance ball but dont have the money this is a great substitute. All the qualities of a high performace ball minus the price.

I think this ball is great, though had initially bought it for medium oil lanes. I played in a tournament soon after purchasing the ball and although the lanes were fairly heavily oiled, it was vertually uncontrollable when it hit the back end. I had the ball drilled with the pin just above and between the finger holes, with the CG on the span's vertical axis, and about an ich up. I wanted to produce as much length as possable with the snap left as late as possible, and am looking forward to using it on a suitably heavily oiled condition.
