This ball loves to glide through the heads. It has a continous hook towards the pocket, although if it hits oil it may continue to slide, speed sensitive. Can't play the big hook with this ball, prefers play around the gutter and back towards the pocket. The smell of cherries off this ball is awesome, especially if you leave it in your car for awhile. This is a great ball for drier lanes, recommend it if you can find it at a great price. 100 words 100 words 100 words 100 words 100 words 100 words..... 100 words 100 words

well i bought this ball used and it was cracked horribly. i had to get a huge section of the ball fixed by plugging, but im glad i did. i first had the recharge but really didnt like it much due to its inconsistent hooking reaction but the charge was 20 bucks so i said sure why not. after finally having this ball all fixed i threw it and it took off. i didnt think something should be hooking this hard. it reminded me of how my duece used to be while it was new. well anyway after about 3 days of throwing the ball i was constantly getting 260's and 250's. well yesterday i threw a 300 240 and 230 with this ball, but still havent had a chance to use it in league. hopefully today will be its first time in league and hopefully i score well....overall this is a great ball if you put some hand in the ball and have some accuracy

I'VE HAD THIS BALL FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW AND IM STILL LOVING THE WAY THIS BALL REACTS ON THE LANE. IM JUST GLAD I DESIDED TO BUY THIS BALL. I SHOT 290 GAME WITH THIS BALL WHEN I WENT TO PRACTICE WITH MY FRIEND. THE POWER CHARGE IS NOT GOOD ON DRY LANE CONDITIONS BUT YOU CAN TAKE SOME HAND OUT OF THE BALL AND GET IT TO WORK ON DRYER LANE CONDITIONS. ALSO I REALLY LIKE THE SMELL OF THE BALL AND THE COLOR OF THE BALL. IT LOOKS REALLY COOL GOING DOWN THE LANE. I REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVE THIS BALL!!!!!!!

This has quickly become one of my favorite Storm balls. I have drilled four of them and loved each one. This ball is great ball to have in your bag. This is not a ball that is your "first ball out of the bag", but is a great ball to have when the lanes begin to transition and your main ball starts hooking early and puking when it gets to the pocket. The Power Charge will get thru the heads clean and then store energy down the lane. Has great pop when it gets there. Each one I have drilled has had a longer pin thus I go with my favorite layout (4 3/4 x 4 1/4). Thus when I need to make a change I don't get a real wacky ball reaction but just a step under my main ball. Again a great ball to have in ones arsenal. Every tourney bowler should have one.

I got this ball drilled to be able to play inside, on a deep angle to the pocket. It worked. This ball has great roll and very smooth hook. The break Point on this ball is great also. When hit light this ball may leave some 2,7, or 9 pins. When hit flush nothing is standing up frm this ball. Great carry. Also a good thing about this ball is the smell! I have been using storm bowls for my last three balls, and i dont think i switching companys soon. Storm makes great products and i hope the supercharge is as good as the CHARGE!

this ball is a real great ball for a very low price. I got mine for 95 buck at my friends pro shop. This ball can go right through the heads and bang all 10 pins fall. This ball is very similar to the super cahrge except the super charge has an earlier hook on the lanes. Everything else is about the same. I love both of these balls from storm. Great ball. I really like the different lines it can play. My typical shot is up the 8 board with a lot of speed. As the lanes broke down, I moved to the center and swung it out 3 boards or so. It still had plenty power to turn the corner and shatter the pins on the deck. I am very impressed with this ball. I will still use the Storm Red Hit when the lanes are completely fried. Nice going storm. I also have a storm erase-it for when the lanes are souped. I have three balls from storm that cover any condition that I might find on a lane. I travel to different houses and one of those balls will work no matter what I find. I also made every spare with it, nice move to the left side of the lane.

If you are one that lives by the saying "straighter is greater" look no further than this ball. I throw around 18 mph and above average revs. On conditions where I have to slow down my speed drastically to make the ball come back to the pocket I go right to this ball. I play it straight up 2 at the speed I am most comfortable with and this ball makes an aggresive turn in the backend and barrels through the pocket. The ball carries pretty well, though I still get the ocassional corner pins. This ball is also great for drier lane conditions where a ball like the X factor is too overly aggressive. Overall, another great ball by Storm productions. Keep up the good work Storm.

This ball is unbelivable, i never thinking then this ball is perfect Just the way i wanted a great hook backend. Before than i buy the power charge i was allaways dreaming to buy the Eraser Boost but someting says than the power charge was the ball than is going to the good one and going to have a great shot. The power charge's look like the X-Factor Because they have the same coverstock or maiby and the same hook and backend on the lane. The guy on the pro shop told me to buy the Eraser blaze but my choice was don before long time. A suggestion buy this ball right now because this ball it going to be greatess ball.

in my previous review of this ball I expressed a relitive liking of the ball, though in the time since drilling the ball i never really matched up with the ball on any lane conditions.... I found the ball didn't rev up, though still rolled earlier. I am assuming this is because without "spinning" it never got into a slide, so therefore rolled earlier. I fount it hooked well on the back end, however whenever I found enough oil to use the ball, i had oter balls that worked better on these conditions. I decided not to give up on the ball, and plugged a redrilled it. This time, I gave it a 2.25" pin (5" previously) and about a 100 degree MB position (75 Degree previously). The ball definitly revved up earlier as expected, and contrary to what i have observed in my experience, the ball slid further with this drilling. This new drilling also tamed the back end some-what, though still left a lot of bite, andif anything the extra rotations the ball was carrying improved carry a litt

I drilled the ball with the CG in the palm of the hand and the pin at 2 o'clock beside the fingers. I was looking for a ball that would perform when the x-factors were too strong. This ball fits the ticket. After a game getting the thumb to fit. I started getting real comfortable with the release and man does this ball hit. It actually CHARGES to the pocket with great hitting power. I am really impressed with this ball for performance, price and overall quaility of this STORM ball. I am real glad that the orginal X-Factor made its way to my bowling bag. Since then I have bought th Deuce, Re-Loaded, Fear Factor, Hit and now the Charge. All balls compliment each other. This ball has paid for itself plenty of times.

This storm ball has one of the smoothest rolls I have ever bowled with. It is also strong and a hard hitter. I was surprised with how hard it hit. It is also very predictable. It breaks at the same time almost every time. My highest score with this ball was on synthetic lanes which was a 240. Just dont use this ball on dry lanes because it gets very little velocity and rotation. Also, if you plan this ball on wooden lanes make sure to be ready to get some spilts if you play outside. Other than that this ball is very good to have in any other situation!

Throw it down the guts or down the outside...it comes home. I bowled on the fresh with it and nearly collapsed when it flew in from first board to the pocket. I find the pins on the Brooklyn side easy to pick up with this ball as well. The carry down does not worry me, its the dry lanes that worry me. This ball isnt over reactive, nor is it under reactive. Its perfect. I didnt find it working well when it had been dulled when it was re-surfaced due to having a nice slice taken out of it down the backend. It regained its strength and its working great.

I just drilled up one of these this week. Used about a 5 inch pin and a strong, around 75 degree, MB placement. I had expected the ball to rev up pretty well, dispite the drilling, due to the shape of the core, but found it didnt rev nearly as well as my other stuff... The first time i used it was in a small fun tournament, and after the last game i pulled out my X-factor to see how much more it would have hooked to find it turned about 5-8 boards LESS! This has also been my observation when I have used it since, regardless of the fewer phisical rotations on the ball. When the ball starts to turn, it turns stronly, even on the mediacore back ends i have used it on so far, but then seems to go into a strong arcing, continuous turn, back end movement. Very strong indeed. All in all i am impressed by the ball, even though it will fit into a different position in my arsenal than i had originally expected! THE POWER CHARGE IS AN EXCELLENT ADDITION TO THE STORM LINE.THIS BALL PROVIDES EXCELLENT SKID THROUGH THE FRONTS,SOLID MID LANE READ,AND ROLL ON THE BACKEND.THE COVER COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE STRONGER TO PROMOTE A LITTLE MORE FRICTION ON THE HARDER SURFACE SYNTHETICS,BUT OTHER THAN THAT THE BALL IS VERY SOLID.THE HEAVY HANDED WILL LOVE THE COMBINATION OF MID LANE CONTROL AND POWER AT THE PINS.MOST STROKERS WILL SEE CONSISTENCY,ESPECIALLY AS THE LANES BEGIN TO TRANSITION,BECAUSE THEY WON'T HAVE TO PICK UP A WEAKER PIECE.ONE OF THE FEW WEAKNESES NOTICED WAS A DISLIKE FOR HEAVY CARRY DOWN IN MOST SITUATIONS.WHEN DELIVERED PROPERLY THE BALL HITS LIKE A TRUCK,PERIOD.FOR THIS PIECE I FAVORED A 4x3 LAYOUT,MASS BIAS IN THE STRONG POSITION.I CAN ENVISION DRILLING ANOTHER PERHAPS PIN UNDER RING FINGER,CG SWUNG OUT,MASS BIAS NEAR VAL.THIS BALL IS DEFINITELY WORTH A LOOK.....

I REALLY LIKE THIS BALL IT GETS THROUGH THE FRONT WITH EASE AND SAVES ENERGY WHERE ITS NEEDED. THIS BALL REALLY POPS AT THE POCKET. GREAT TOURNAMENT BALL VERY VERSATILE. FITS NICE INTO MY ARSENAL WHEN MY ERASER PARTICLE STARTS BURNING UP I GO RIGHT TO THE CHARGE. THIS BALL KEEPS THE PINS LOW TOO. CAN CHANGE HAND POSITION AND PLAY A VARIETY OF SHOTS THIS I LIKE. TEN PINS HAVE NOT BEEN A PROBLEM AT ALL I MAY LEAVE SOME 4'S AND 9'S BUT THOSE ADJUSTMENTS ARE EASY I JUST CHANGE MY HAND POSITION AND LIKE THE TERMINATOR IM BACK. I'M MAKING MONEY WITH BALL IT PAID FOR ITSELF 5 TIMES OVER ALREADY.<scr
