it is a good old ball. i have won it on a fun tournament because nowone likes to play 16 lbs. this is my favorite weight. it is drilled to go long and strong and when the lane are brocken down it is my best weapon. i get my first 300 with it after playing 12 games on the lane. it hits not so hard as the new balls but you get a lot of solid 9 and some strikes so it is a good ball for the last games on a lane. i always have it in my bag and i use it if nothing else wants to go.

I averaged 200+ with this ball when I got it for 3 straight years. Before that I think my high was 190. I bowled at a couple of dry houses, and my Pro recommended this ball. He had it on his discount rack as the ball was discontinued. Then injured my wrist and needed to go to a lighter ball. I gave this green machine to my buddy. (BIG MISTAKE). His average jumped 10 pins ... mine dropped back to 190. LOL Now I'm trying to find something similar. Tried the Wicked, Beast Pearl & Apex Aggression based on referrals. Wicked & Aggression are too agressive on dry lanes. Beast Pearl hits like a wussy.

excellent ball over all with good control and hitting power, but when the lanes are flooded i have to use one of my Trauma . I works better on the medium to light oil lanes. The ball is more consistent and easy to control when polished because the polish gives the ball time to get down the lane and help control its very hard arc at the pins. If the ball is dull it will tend to lose its hitting power in which it hit the pins like a feather . Overall a excellent ball that will arc and hit consistently but if you are to wide on your shot it will skid and roll out of the shot.

Got this one drilled with the pin above the ring finger and the cg just right and below grip centre. I've used this ball on alot of conditions and as long as the heads aren't too dry or the backends too wet you can find a way to get this to the hole. I've lined up between 3rd and 4th arrow with slow speed on tight lanes and had the whole lane to play with(just like the other stuff i throw!) on the more wide open shot my centre has now. I compared it with my Combat Zone last week and while they both get though the heads equally well the Bolt has a "rounder' but still sharp breakpoint when compared to the CZone. This thing can still do some damage at the pindeck as well. It keeps the pins down and the 10 gets dug out as long as you get it off your hand clean. It can snap hard from the gutter or hold the oil line equally well(what ball doesn't these days!) Took me couple of years to get hold of one but worth the wait 8 pins(9 on its good days) out of 10
