Weight: 15 Surfaces used: Polished and 2000 wet sand Layout: Pin up above the bridge Step up: Paradigm Domination Step down: Tropical Heat Solid Bowler stats: Ball speed: 18.0 mph Rev rate: ~420 rpm Bowling style: High rev stroker If you don't have enough budget for a brand-new Hy-road pearl, look for this one. Similar coverstock formula (Reactor Pearl) and core numbers. OOB, this ball does what it's supposed to do: Goes long and comes off the spot very strong. I manage oil breakdown in a different way, so I don't need polished stuff. I changed the surface to @2000 wet sand and got the benchmark type of reaction I was looking for. It goes long, controls the midlane and still comes off the spot strong, working on a wide variety of lane conditions. Just love it.

I would recommend this ball to anyone who wants a second arrow ball. I have a Columbia 300 Scout reactive for my spare and the difference is crazy. I could argue the Scout is a straight ball after using the Spit Fire. Only complaint is the pro shop drilled a balance hole and I have never used it. Not sure if thats a complaint or not. Rather indifferent about it, but perhaps if I didn't have it I could roll it slower. Either way, thats up to me to fix. the ball smells like apple jax and It is potent. Don't let that stray you, but man its strong

Drilling was 5/12 X 5, pin up. This ball is the complement ball to my Special Agent. I can usually come in behind my special agent with this when I need more length, or I can use this if I just need more motion towards the end of the lane This ball fits in very well on house shots that need a smoother reaction but still have a sweeping back end motion. The only problem with this ball is the way I drilled it It can't be used through 3 games, most of the time after about 2 games, or less, it starts hooking to soon. Even though it's a pearl, it's also a symmetric so it's still going to roll early.

This is a great ball is does what it was meant to do. I throw this ball over the 3 arrow and it flares out and comes back to the pocket with authority.. The more I throw this ball the better I like it.. It does need to be kept clean, and the occasional polish helps this ball maintain its factory finish. Apple / Cinnamon smell gets a little old after a while. But still a great addition to any ball bag. This is my first Storm ball and hit won't be my last!! Ball works well in light to medium oil.<

Ok where do I start on this ball. I drilled this ball pin below my ring finger with the cg directly below. I really think that is the cause of most of my problems with this ball, It uses up so much energy rolling early on the lane that by the time it hits the pins it just seems to have nothing left, I have plugged this lately and am going to put the pin left of my ring finger and really kick out the CG to get some back end reaction. Lets hope it makes a difference anyway. I really do not wanna give this ball a bad review because Storm are producing such good stuff lately, And this ball is just terrible so far for me! I love the smell and the colour too it looks quality! I am just hoping when I change the drilling on this ball that it might seem to do a bit more than a 12lb plastic LOL!. excellent ball over all with good control and hitting power, but when the lanes are flooded i have to use one of my shift . I works better on the medium to light oil lanes. The ball is more consistent and easy to control when polished because the polish gives the ball time to get down the lane and help control its very hard arc at the pins. If the ball is dull it will tend to lose its hitting power in which it hit the pins like a feather . Overall a excellent ball that will arc and hit consistently but if you are to wide on your shot it will skid and roll out of the shot.

This is the best ball I've owned in a long time. Better than anything else I own on anything from a a typical house shot to any of the five PBA patterns. It gets through the heads smooth and catches on the dry and turns hard to the pocket. The ball does tend to leave many single pins especially on tougher conditions. Fortunately I'm currently satisfied with 9/ on a sport condition and Figure if the ball looses a little of the sharpness of it's break it will carry better on some of these conditions. Overall this is one of the best balls I've ever owned

This ball hits like a ton of bricks, nice angle to the pocket when the backends are fresh, it is very even whatever line you play with it. you can play it hard and straight, or move in and swing it, it kind of spooks a bit in heavy oil. I shined it up it comes flying back to the head pin, i took it back to gray scotch brite much better reaction. it made it arc alot more instead of so skid flippy. this is my go to ball when my dark thunder hooks too much, great ball for the price Overall very nice ball, great smell, incredible carry.

great buy for the price.I love the backend great carry .clean through the fronts great all over choice if you need something medium oil.Watch out for heavy oil reaction dies at the end in heavy oil.the scent smells like apple pie.so far my highest game is a 255 just got it 2 weeks ago and i like unless there is heavy oil on the lanes.Dont use on light oil it will take off and go to the four pin.You can hook the whole lane with this ball Minimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 100 wordsMinimum 10

I have the Fired Up and the Spit Fire and both are drilled a pin under. The Spit Fire is more controllable and has much more better pin action. Unlike the Fired Up, the Spit Fire will not agree with dry lanes. The Spit Fire is the best ball that I have seen in performance and looks. It is great at picking up 3-6-7-9-10 spares. It has a strong back end that will bite you sometimes. In oil, it is easily played on the inside and outside lines. The only problem is that once the ball gets to the 5 board it is normally prone to just randomly fall off the lane even if it isn't headed to the gutter. I love to throw hard and fast and so does this ball.

My first couple of games with the Spit Fire were not too impressive. I thought I was upgrading balls, but I got nothing new out of the ball from my previous ones. That was until my pro suggested finger tipping the ball. What a huge difference! I got much better action on the ball and when you hit the pocket, regualr or brooklyn, you rarely come away with anything but a strike. My lanes are typically very oily and needed something with a little more grip and action. (Infinite One) I now use my Spit Fire as my spare ball because it is predictable and it doesnt spin quite as much. Great intermediate ball.

This is a great ball if you need a ball to go long.. I have the pin placement above the ring finger. Love it. This is my first time trying storm product and I will buy another for sure. The new smells on the ball is awsome. Everyone thought I was putting perfume on the ball. I also love the color of the ball. I have been a Ebonite fan for a long time and I'm glad I tried this ball. CAnt wait to see my high games after I really get used of throwing the ball some more. I can see why theres been some high series through with this ball. I'm the first one my league to throw one and I know someone who is going to buy on now.

I baught this ball used for a great price. I had it plugged and drilled for more length. I used it for the first time and quickly noticed that this ball lets nothing stand in its way. I moved over several boards and played up mid second arrow ( 12th board ). I'm not a high rev player and play more straight like Walter Ray Williams, so this ball gave me a challenge. I graciously accepted and my only job was to hit the 12th board and the ball would do the rest. I noticed that when my mechanics were perfect including balance, I STRUCK. when my balance made me fall off my shot....well.... i left a ringing 7. because im left handed. Overall this ball has tremendous backend power and finishes with force.

The Spit Fire is one of the best balls produced by Storm I've ever seen. I played the Storm Pyro and I was very contently about hook and backend reaction. The Spit Fire is better. I played him today on fresh lanes. First it goes very strait, but the hook as he reacts was fantastic. If played around the third arrow towars the gutter. If the lanes becomes dryer the Spit Fire reacts a little bit to much, but it was possible to play it around the first arrow. All in all I like this ball. His hook and his pinaction were perfect.
