Ambers first ball was a WD plastic 12 lb, full finger, inexspensive ball for a beginner. Her second is a tropical storm 15lb semi-fingertip. The first ball was too light and she threw it all over the place. The second one is when she started to learn to hook. This one is like the three bear story so far. Now she is starting to throw a great hook over the second and third arrow. The ball is fairly forgiving on anything from heavy to med-lite oil. The pin action is really amazing for a 13 lb ball, it drives into the pocket hard and carries really well.

This ball was wat i've been looking for, for a long time.. it's the first ball out of my bag, and its on the top along w/ my spare ball(i keep my versitle ball and spare ball on top) but yea... i drilled this up and i kept the factory finish on it, but i want to try a 600 grit on the ball, or atleast wear off the polish on the ball, but i also have to weigh the ball out, because i think it has some side weight on it that needs to be removed.... but yea.. its a leverage drilling and i have a pink slug in the thumb, and a pink left insert..(i hate it when i can find a left pink 23 lift, but not a right pink 11 lift... can i get an amen?lol) and the right is a white... it rolls beautifully..... i love it and i cant wait to unleash it on the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 WUAHAHAHAH! lol but yea... if u want anything drilled up.. come to DAVE OLM'S PRO SHOP! the best in TAMPA BAY! but if ur in the Hollywood,Fla. area, go to the Will Welch Pro Shop... the best on that side...

Bought the ball from buddiesproshop.com. Shipped to my door for $85.00. First of all that is a awesome price. Did not expect the ball to hook as much as it did. Drilled it with pin right next to my ring finger. The ball turned the corner as if it was a storm ball on the X-factor line. I bowled a 725 with it out of the box. Did not have to wipe it off with a towel the whole night. Heard low end storm balls burn out fast so only time will tell. But so far I have no complaints. Great Ball for medium-Heavier Oil. Also bowled on a fresh oiled shot so I do not know how it will react with carry down yet. But for the price hey who cares.

Pin 6" from PAP My friend aka Big Bad Booty Daddy, said I had to have it. I gave in and the ball gave it up. First two games with this ball, 258-300, should of started with it. I am usually checking out the hood of the ball return when I step on the approach. This ball was letting me slide 20 and just rip it across 10 at the arrows to anywhere. I HIGH shined this ball by hand before leaving the shop to help me play right too. It's enjoyable to see a ball that lays up when it reads the oil line but not underreacting. Probably the most impressive sight for a ball at this price level is the carry. This is a great piece shined up for the big hand community.

This ball is a great ball for the price, but you do need some speed for this ball. Once this ball hits dry, it takes off. This ball is alot stronger than storm sais, but I really like this ball. It revs up real fast, and doesnt burn up, this ball hits so hard, I find myself leaving solid 9 pins alot. Not to sure about the color, but this ball is a keeper, Good Ball for the money!!! x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x

first off i drilled this ball with the pin over the ring finger and the cg in the palm. to get the ball going long with a smoth hook to the pocket. well i thought this ball would be good on dry lanes. well the lanes last night with a lot of oil in the middle and dry on the out side. my xxxx factor was moving to hard to the hole. so i swicth to my wire and was smooth to the hole with no problems. the hitting power of this ball was not the greatest but this is a low end ball. over all i think this is a good ball from store.

I bought it to fill a hole in my arsenal, and what I have now is a ball that is similar to my Eraser, but not as strong as my Predator. I am going to alter the cover, and see what happens. I do believe it's a quality ball, but it just shows me that research through web sites like this, your pro shop guy, and even getting tech support from a 1-800 number still comes down to a gamble on the consumer end...you won't really know until you try the product. This is what frustrates me about the game today;there are so many choices on equipment, and if you make the wrong choice, it can be expensive. Hammer Demo Days, here I come!! Update (9/12/04)...hit the ball with a grey scotch brite pad on my spinner, and have had more success with it, since I am getting a few more feet of skid before it grabs. I'm not down on the ball anymore, just had to tweak the cover to make it fit my game.

I like Storm products a lot, however this ball is a much, much more harder snapping ball then it is supposed to be, at least in my opinion. I fully understand the companys need to keep bringing out new balls. Even though since I run a pro shop, it is more of a hassle to me. But this ball does not fit into the arsenal where it should in my opinion. All of the research I have done indicated that this would be a mild ball, and fit in with similarities to the barbed wire, however I have found that this ball is much more angular than the barbed wire. I would also say that it carries well, and turns the corner fairly hard. However it is far from what I was expecting.

I drilled this ball for the tough lane conditions so I could get this down the lane and read the back ends. Well I found out that this ball will hook. I thought that it was for light oil. But I do not think that this is the case. I got to use this ball on my Monday night shift. I have been using either my Flash Point or my Prime Time but for some reason they were not making the break to the pocket so I pulled this ball out of my bag and threw 19 in-a-row. This ball got to the break point and just kept knocking down the pins. This ball might not do what I thought but if it knocks down 300 in a game it's alright by me. Thanks STORM.

My wifes ball. Hates it. Hits like a marshmallow. Bowled at least ten games and couldn't carry the corners. Switched to my Sonic Boom and never left another ten. Not any better than the Barbed Wire. Storm tried to compensate for the lack of hitting power of the Barbed Wire but didn't get it any better with the Razor Wire. Drilled with stacked leverage and an extra weight hole. Ball flares over the thumb hole and lack hitting power. I drilled it the same as my Barbed Wire thinking it would be better through the midlane and the backends but was very surprised by it's lack of hitting power.
