Storm Paradigm Domination Bowling Ball

(17 reviews) Write a Review
Reaching a pattern of consistent performance at your highest level requires commitment, conviction, and passion. With a strong Reactorâ„¢ Pearl cover and modified RAD+â„¢ dual disk weight block, the new Domination creates the absolute best skid/flip ball in its class. The low RG (2.47) creates a heavy midlane roll. The advantage of the disc design is the strong mass bias differential (.023). This produces a short and sharp break point that leads to more entry angle and a wider pocket! The Domination is sure to work well on heavier patterns. When the lanes are freshly run, start with the Double Agent. Then, as the lanes break down and carry down, you will be able to switch to your Domination and open the break point again and better manage the transition! Fragrance: Spearmint

This ball is GREAT! On heavy or medium-heavy or medium oil, it skids easily through the fronts, even on the most carried down shots and revs super-hard on the back. When sanded, it gets that nice hybrid-type reaction without losing backend. And it is just as effective on today's conditions. I played on heavy-oil house and sport shots with it (at @3000). If the heads are too heavy, just slow down a bit. One thing I love about this ball is that, on heavy oil, I can play on my comfort zone (near 1st arrow), but if it doesn't work, I can easily slow down and play inside 4th arrow, throw it to the right and watch it fly back. Definitely a great choice if you don't have enough cash for a brand new BYTE (I found both to have very similar reactions).

Great Ball !! I have shot a 290, 278 and had 19 in a row with this ball. I'm still getting used to this ball but so far its a winner! Works best for me when the lanes break down. Need a little oil in the heads to send it wide and watch it pound the pocket !! Pin under ring finger with cg kicked out a little using small weight hole. Great Ball !! Great ball... I was looking to move inside into the oil and eliminate having to adjust as the outside shot breaks down... this ball does the trick! On a fresh house shot, this ball clears the heads nicely and then revs up and clears the deck! It stores up the energy & then turns over and crushes the pins. I bowled 208-248-279 = 735 on my first night with the PD. Once I found the proper entry angle, I had 21 strikes in the last 24 frames! I think this ball has many 800s in it... and my first Storm ball will not be my last!!

I bought this off of Ebay. it is a Pro-Pin. I had it drilled with the 5" x 3" drilling. It did require a weight hole to make it legal. I love this drilling on this ball. It will really hook. It arcs with a strong late flip into the pocket. It hits really hard. When i screw up and throw it bad it still seems to find the pocket. If i throw it to far outside just comes screaming back in. If i throw it inside it holds. Obviously if you use it on conditions it isnt meant for it will be very hard to control. It isnt a dry oil ball so dont try it. Anyway it is a hell of a ball and i would suggest that everyone have 1 in your arsenal. Another incredible ball from Storm. Please keep these great balls coming Storm.

Great roll ,revs fast and very versatile for any style bowler. Expensive but worth it. The fragance is soothing and color is nice. The ball rolls well on any condition and type of lane. The master line is storms best. I drilled the ball, pin to the side of the ring finger mas bias stacked. This bal is long and strong. All the energy in at the end. I may drill another ball pin under middle finger mas bias kick out to the right. I thought the paradigm was the best but storm keeps making better balls. You will thank me if you decide to buy the DOMINATION>>>>>>>

I am writing this review as a special request from a bowlingballreviews.com forum member. If you would like me to do a review on a ball, just visit our website and email me and I will do my best! I have had 3 Dominations, so I figured it was about time I wrote a review for it. The Domination was the first ball out of my bag for a long time. I could use it at almost any house I went to with a good amount of success. The ball I decided to review has a pin of around 2 to 2.5" and a top weight of right at 3oz. The pin is located below my bridge almost dead center with my bridge. The cg is kicked out to the right about an inch and a half with the mass bias below and right of the thumb hole. My PAP is 4 3/4" right and 1/2" up. Having thrown the Domination on a variety of conditions I can say that this is one of the most versatile balls I have ever drilled. On a short oil pattern I can move left and it will get down the lane and make the turn to the hole with power and prec

Good ball over all with tremendous hitting power, but where I bowl the lanes are flooded with oil so it will tend to slide a little on middle half of the lane . Works better when polished than dull. I don't really know what it would be like on really dry lanes because im bowling on flooded lanes all the time! Really, overall a good ball that will hook if you want it to but if you bowl it ot slow it will take off like a rocket, STORM RULES,STORM RULES,STORM RULES,STORM RULES,STORM RULES,STORM RULES,STORM RULES

Got this ball as a gift, and it was pretty much the best gift I've gotten in a while. RICO drill on this give me a lot of length, and allows it to make the turn pretty violently. Hard hitting. Shot a 290 with it the first day I had it. Sometimes goes a little too long, and washes out occasionally. Not great for really heavy lanes, as it doesn't have a lot of surface. On a medium condition, this ball is king! Storm did a good job with this ball, and I plan on purchasing more of their products, if they are as good as the Domination.

hits real nice and definatly has its spot in storms aresonal. it tracked otu so fast that after two weeks of 2 different leagues, i had to have it resurfased! i jsut spent $257.95+tax, grips, and a slug to have it drilled, and still tracked otu faster than my tropical storm, (also a great little work horse) and then spent another $35 to have it resurfased! appoling! at first i thought it was the perfect ball, gift from god, but then after a few games on wood lanes that had been sanded and resurfased at the beginning if the year, it had and equator for a track

I purchased this ball back last fall, and I got a chance to practice with it in two different houses. My Domination was drilled 6" X 4" (pin to PAP X RAD to PAP) placing the pin above the middle finger and the RAD very strong. I also had an X-hole drilled on the midline 5" from grip center. My thanks go to Mike Corum of Empire Pro Shop at Southwyck Lanes in Toledo, Ohio. He drilled me a true, long-lasting winner of a ball! I was looking for versatility, combining a strong dynamic ball with a weak pin drilling. Well, the Storm Paradigm Domination fit the bill! On the house shot, I could play inside and bump the crown, or I could swing it out to the channel and watch it come back strong. The drilling gave me flare control, allowing a clean run through the heads with a strong move in the back. The Domination has also been a great performer during the PBA Experience. I can use this ball on the Viper, Chameleon, and Scorpion patterns. Of the three, it did the best on the Scorpio

This ball is one of the best from Storm. I liked the original Paradigm, but this ball is on a whole other level. This is the best Storm ball I've ever thrown. As long as you keep your speed reasonably consistant, you will be fine. I drilled this ball to have a good midlane reaction, but it goes a little longer than I wanted. I've never heard such loud strikes in my life when I throw this ball. The sound is ridiculous, there really is nothing than can stand when this ball is flush. I didn't leave any ringing 10 pins out of 6 games so far. I did leave a few weak 10's the 3rd games of the series. The ball starts losing a little bit of it's angle. This ball is also very forgiving. You can miss right, and the ball will come back without stopping. It holds if you pull it a little which is also a nice bonus. This ball is a great compliment to my angular Black Widow and I would recomend this ball to anyone looking for a ball with a strong, continuous hook. NEW - I had a large balance hole dr

I have this drilled with the ring finger drilled through the pin, and the mass bias just left of my thumb hole, which is a 5x5 drilling for me. When my Vertigo stops carrying in the 3rd game, I pick up the Domination, move in a couple of boards, and cut it loose. As a lefthander with a rev rate of about 400 or so, I leave more 8 pins on flush hits than 7s. On nights that I can use this out of the gate, I never worry about leaving flat 7s. My one complaint is that I needed to resurface it, and when I did, the ball flattened out a LOT. I'm trying to get that original reaction back, and hopefully I have it figured out.

I like the ball alot, I recieved the ball as a warranty replacement for my (2nd) paradigm. I was happy with the paradigm exept for the lack of hooking potential in heavy oil, but it's not meant for that ,and the cracking. Seems to do ok in medium/heavy oil, and at least medium/heavy is a must. I have the ball drilled 5x3 and it still hooking hard even though Im a speed player. the ball has a different look to it going down the lane than my paradigm, and seems to hit as hard, but does'nt have the same kind of booming sound the paradigm does, but who cares abount sound if the pins are falling, and leaving less ten pins. I can't wait to complete my weapon supply with the shift, and passion...<

It is layed out with a standard 4x4 with a 1' wieght hole. I have used it on alot of patterns and any position on the lane. It is quite incredible on the open house pattern. Last night in the first night back for the year I went 245 - 258 - 280. If this ball ever left a 10 pin, it wouldn't be there long. There is nearly always a scout on it's way. The only thing stopping this ball is my own bad shots. In a tournament a week earlier I went through unbeaten on a 50 foot sports pattern. This ball is fast becoming my favorite of all time. You can't go wrong with this ball.

pin over fingers for more length, clears the heads like nothing, if dry on the back , will come back from anywhere. (found that out on accident.) i got exactly what i wanted. tried it out on haevy oil to begin with, will come back , but my origal paradigm was much better . went to league, took 1 game to figure it out (201), then shot 280 & 247, no taps at all.the paradigm & domination will cover virtually everything. nothing else to say, nothing else to say, nothing else to say, nothing else to say, nothing else to say, nothing else to sa

This is the ball that I ahve been waiting for. I have had many storm balls and this by far takes the cake. The ball has a short 2 inch pin that was placed under the ring finger the cg was kicked out about 35 degrees and the RAD was on my PAL. The ball was drilled for tournament conditions where I needed something to read earlier and still have enough backend that I did not have in some of my other equipment. I have drille dseveral of these balls for melf and other bowlers and I have heard nothing but praise out of this ball. I haven't thrown it enough to really score with it but I have shot 4 750 sets with it since I got it. If you are looking for a ball that reacts une other storm equipment and actually arcs rather than a violent snap on the backend than this is your ball.

Received ball through VIP program Ball is 14LBS, pin 2-2.5, top weight 2.20. Drill the ball with a 4 1/2 pin from pap and a 45 degree MB. MB is on my VAL and pin is below my ring finger. Drilled a 7/8 axis hole on my VAL 3 inches below my PAP. End side weight is 1/2 oz. Ball is awesome. Ball clears the heads very well and has tremendous backend. This is first Storm product I have thrown since the X-Factor Deuce and I am very impressed. I will be pushing this ball in my Pro Shop.
