Finally, a Storm ball thats in the bag for keeps. I drilled this 2 inch pin out Flash with the pin 2 3/4 from PAP at 1.30 from cg, hole on PAP back to 3/8 negative. The smooth reaction allows you to do a range of things with this ball as long as you're not trying to wheel the whole lane. On a lot of oil it will roll straight at those single pins and it wont jump and chop your cluster spares. When stronger balls want to jump to the nose or you want to play up a drying track area when outside 10 is OB this is a piece to reach for too. I couldn't see this being unpredictable even with a leverage layout. Should be a handy tool after our forthcoming resurface when the backends will probably be kicking up dust.

Please bring it back!!! Find me someone who has a few of these undrilled and I will buy them off their hands!!!!! This ball was the best ball made for light-dry lanes!!! I threw my 1st 300 game with this ball when I was 17, I've thrown 4 more with it. But it's pretty spent now!!! If you can find one buy it!!! I was just simply amazed by how forgiving it is miss left it would travel back and smoke the deck, miss right and it held until the pocket was in sight, then BANG!!!! They say lightning doesn't strike the same place strike, guess what in this case, THEY'RE WRONG!!!!!

The ball hit's solid and works great on medium to light oil. This is a fairly new ball to me, got it used. I finally got the ball drilled and the first night I bowled with this ball, it was great ,I shot a 725 series 230,245,250 and that is real high for me. Great ball for the price. Unfortunately, this ball does not like dry at all, it will hook early and hard. If you can find a ball like this hold on to it., you won't regret it. This ball does not like dry at all

it seems that the ball is so uncontrollable!!! I had a hard time finding my line and when i finally found it the ball seems to hit flat!!! The worst part is in a matter of a week i needed to have it reconditioned. My urethane balls seem to hit harder than this ball! I may be wrong it might be my throw but what the heck i own 5 other balls and yet this ball seems to be the worst hitter of all my balls! It seems that storm is really good in making soft coverstock balls! I don't really know what to do with this ball anymore!

The lighting flash is a must for bowler who is on a budget. It has controlable hook. Hit like a champ. No power needed for it to hit hard. I used this as 1st and 2nd ball for 4 games and my score improved by the game. It's great for beginner or any other level bowler. The ball is well worth it for this price range. The ball do best on a medium to light oil lane for me. But very hard to adjust on oily lane. Harder than carry down lane. That's just me anyway. Get it if you have a chance!

This ball is a great first ball. The inverted flash bulb core is the greatest core ever. I have only had this ball for a short time but I have balls with the same core as this one does and I have yet to find a better core that this one. If you can find a ball with the same core as this one grab it fast. The pearl coverstock only adds more reaction. This ball should not be used on alot of oil because it will not react. And also do not sand this ball no pearl ball should be sanded.

I bought this ball in December of 2000, and loved it from the minute I threw it in league. This ball is amazing. I shot my high series of the year (236-300-235=771) after 2 months with this ball. The roll is just SOOO consistant. Toss it outside, itll come back. Tug it a board, it holds in the oil and still carries through the pocket. Ive averaged around 214 with this ball, at a house thats very stubborn for 9pins and 10pins. If you can find one, definatley pick it up. Low price, great ball. What more can you ask for?????

I bought this ball as a medium/dry lane ball about a 8 monthes ago. It is drilled at 130 with the CoG slightly up and to the right of straight up. Initially I used it sanded down, and it wanted to roll out on dry lanes, but worked like a champ heavy/medium oil. I then polished it up like a marble. That took care of my needs for medium/dry lanes. Gotta throw it from 15 or 20 out to around 10 on a medium shot with alot of carry down. And I move out and throw across 20-25 out to 20-15 on drier conditions. The thing I love about this ball most is that it is just so damn consistant. When I throw it down the lane, I know what it is gonna do. I never have to worry about that.

This ball is a good ball as long as the shot doesn't dry out. If the lanes conditions start to dry out, this ball will start to hook too soon. But if the lanes are the right condition, this is a really good ball to use. I just started bowling again after taking off 2 1/2 years, and this ball has help me average close to what I did before I quit. I bowl in two leagues and in just over half a season I have bowled a 298 game and a 798 series with this ball. Not to mention many games over 270 all with this ball. I usually can't throw this ball all night but it always has a spot in my bowling bag. Keith (Midland, MI)
