I reason for purchasing this ball is I was looking for a ball that would give me a predictable reaction on relatively dry lanes. My local pro recommended this ball and even consulted with the local Storm representitive before drilling it. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. I can get the ball down the lanes, but can't control the back end. It hooks way too much. The pro shop tried to make it hook less by dulling the finish, but this didn't help. If the lanes have medium oil or I move deep enough, I can make it work, but considering I usually have much better options, this isn't a good plan. Unfortunately, this ball has no value to me and was a mistake.

Stormed299 drilled this one up for my wife. The ball is very controllable for her on any condition but a flood. It has allowed her to play parts of the lanes she could not play before. She can now open it up and 3rd and 4th arrows. or she can play the 1st. She does tend to ring ten a few ten pins, but she makes the proper adjustments. I would strongly recommend this ball for anybody. It's just a great value, and very good ball. I can't think of any more words to describe it. She wished it had a scent.

I'm new to bowling so this isn't going to be the most technical review......I've been bowling regularly now for about 2 months.....finally broke down and decided to get a ball of my own.....I've had this ball for about 2 weeks now......I've bowled with it about 10 times.....between 3 to 7 games each time......so far this ball has done wonders to my game.....my average has jumped from around 110-120 up to 170-180......the only thing that bothers me about this ball is it will sometimes catch and hook a little harder than expected......comes in a bit strong on the head pin and leaves some nasty splits....when it does hit though...it hits hard......overall a great ball for a beginner

Working a second shift we have a league on Wed. night at 11pm this is the only bowling I get in in the past 2 years. I bought this bowl new from the local pro shop at the end of last season. I had a hard time bowling in the beginning but by mid season I could really see I figured this ball out. I threw 4 600's in the last 6 weeks of the season to finish with a 185 avg. I guess that isn't bad for a one day a weeker. Hope to work dayshift soon and get really back into bowling and looking forward to trying another fine storm product.<sc

this ball has probably the best weight block ever made by storm...i know...it is my personal opinion...but i am entitled...i loved the black and the blue thunders....and with the new cover on this ball it rolls extrememly well...a bit more hook(backend) then i was expecting...not a bad thing. going to get another and mess with the cover on it and maybe use a 5 1/4 in pin...right now i have a 4 1/2 inch pin...people in my area that have them...love them and are all talking about getting more because of the versatility of the ball...

This ball hits like a car out of control, heading towards the sand trap. I would say that this ball would give Bob Glidden a run for his money in the quarter mile. Your goal for bowling or in this case the quarter mile is to win a trophy and this ball will deliver. You'll get good lenght and a nice arc to the pocket. Sparing no loss of power when you cross the line and hit the pocket head on. After the ball hits the pocket it will continue it's assualt on to the pins. Your goal is 10 pins on one ball and your objective could be met providing you made a good release. You'll have the ball, all you need now is to go to the starting line. Remember do not cheat and go on amber or you will foul.<s

WE DRILLED THIS ONE FOR ONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS. WE STACKED IT AND LEFT IT WITH THE FACTORY FINISH. HE BOWLED A COUPLE OF GAMES ON A FRSH HOUSE PATTERN, SYNTHETIC LANES. ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS BALL LOOKS REALLY GOOD. THE BALL CLEARED THE FRONT WITH EASE AND MADE A NICE CONTROLLED FLIP IN THE BACK. NOW, DON'T GET ME WRONG HERE, THIS BALL IS STRONG RIGHT FROM THE MIDLANE ON, BUT IT WASN'T THAT VIOLENT SKID SNAP YOU SEE WITH A LOT OF BALLS. IT DEFINITELY CLEARED THE FRONT GREAT, ALSO. I KNOW YOU HEAR THE EXPRESSION HAVING THE WHOLE LANE, BUT THIS GUY HAD THE WHOLE LANE WITH THIS BALL. I SAW HIM HIT 15, 10, 5, AND STILL HIT THE POCKET. AND GUESS WHAT, EVERYONE OF THEM STRUCK, NO CORNERS. ON ONE OF HIS LAST SHOTS, THE 10 PIN STOOD, BUT IT GOT WHACKED BY THE SIX AND SLID ALL THE WAY OVER TO THE 5 PIN SLOT. THIS BALL IS A MUST HAVE.
