When I first got this ball I really liked it, but I had to have it repaired due to chip being taken out of it and it was never the same. After that the ball died. Tried to resurface, but it didn't really help. Even brand new it never hooked as much as claimed and I had it drilled as strong as possible. It was extremely forgiving in the beginning, but I ended up giving it away after it started hitting like a muffin. I usually love everything Storm puts out, but this one was not one of their best.

This is the best spare ball in the entire world. It goes straighter than my Stone Cold ball, and it's a plactic ball. But the way I bowl it has somethign to do with the lack of hook. For one the ball is way too light to be a first ball considering I went from a 16lbs 1st ball to the Fire Power. Though I cannot complain about it, it is second hand. Handed down from my brother, so I cannot complain, a free Fire Power what more could you want besides a Free X-Factor. If it were a 14-15lbs ball it would be awesome.

Impressed ! I have only bowled on 2nd day carrydown and 2nd shift conditions with this ball so far. I left the surface at 800 sand with degree 1200 polish over the top just to have a little surface on it to roll it up a little sooner than the Bolt. It worked from 10 and out and swinging it from 20 to 10. I had to stay behind the ball to get a consistent reaction because the surface isn't conducive to the ball being sent out to 3 or 4 board and back from inside 20. You gotta watch the ball speed too or it will sail the breakpoint. The roll and carry are pretty solid, only one ringer 10 and 1 each of the stone 8 and 9 pin from the solid hits that i had, Just took me a while to work out how to get it to the hole consistently and i expect some good numbers when i do, hopefully on some fresh oil in a tournament at my home centre in a few weeks time, more reviewing after then.

great ball overall with good control, hitting power and excellent control. When the lanes areflooded it tends to skid. Works on any type of lane condition but works at its best on the medium oiled lanes. it is one ball that will work straight out of the box.The ball is more consistent and easy to control when polished because the polish gives the ball more consistent roll down the lane and to help in the control of the pin action.Overall a excellent ball that arc or snap depending on delivery style and hits consistently but it does have tendency to roll out sometimes.

This is a ball for almost any lane condition. This is a ball for almost any bowler. I have had this ball for almost a year. And in the entire time I have had the ball I have found no faults in it. The only thing about it is that this ball should not be used in heavy heavy oil you will probably get no reaction buy other than that there are no faults with this ball. Although this ball should not be polished in my opinion it should stay sanded at 320 grit sand. This is the best ball ever made. Everyone should get this ball.

An oldie, but goodie, mine drilled pin to side of ring finger, cg in the center of palm, no extra hole, and this ball will move from anywhere on the lane. Granded, it won't always come up all the way to the pocket, but it will move. One of the most forgiving balls i've ever thrown. The carry isn't to great with this ball, LOTS and LOTS of smash 8s and 9s. As with all storm balls, the hit is just plain great. I don't think storm can make a ball that doesn't hit well. The pleasure has been yours. The great one

Top weight 2.8 Weight-15pd Pin 2 inchs Drilled 10;30 Leverage weight hole 7/8 wide and 2 inches deep Polished with Ebonite Factory Finished Lane Condtion-House shot moderate oil inbetween the 4 board and to the 36 board with outside 3 boards being soaked to no other lenth of the oil is to 30ft buffed to 35ft. Start out with a stright wrist standing at 30 board and rolling the ball to the 17 board, this ball has a very nice conrolable backend. I try not to throw the same line all the time so i have been using a cupped wrist standing behind the ball return and tossing to the 35 board and swing to the 10 board. With the cranked wrist it causes the ball to take a heavier roll and cut through the oil Lane COndtion-50ft oil pattern, reverse block from 10 to 10 board there is a thin coat of oil, out side ten boards are soaked and hard to get the ball to move. I have two diffrent ways to approch this shot first way stand behind the ball return throw to 37 board and swing to 13 boar
