This ball kills pins on dry or light oil conditions. Reacts powerfully at backend to gain momentum for pocket entrance. Shatters pins no matter if it hits high or low pocket. I was amazed when i found it at the pro shop in used condition, bought it for a great price and still performs outrageously. Very hard to use when the oil is drenched in oil. My back up ball when i use up all the oil on the lane. Also, highly controllable, great assurance when leaves hand. Great ball when making adjustments, will almost roll the same way each throw. Hate the fact that it is discontinued to where i can't buy a brand new one.

I just shot my first ever 300 game with this ball tonight. I can't believe after 7 years and many many games that this ball can still perform. As long as it stays that way It'll continue to be my 'A' game ball. I found out the hard way that any bowling ball will last you a long time if you maintain it. After each shot I wipe the ball with a microfiber towel. I also deep clean it after every league night and practice session. Since I've been doing that all of my bowling balls have been very consistent. I used to think I needed every new ball that came out, but that will get you nowhere but broke. Do your research, do your homework, talk to people at your local pro shop. Buy a ball that will last you a long time. It'll save you a lot of money in the long run and you'll have an awesome and consistent arsenal. Good luck!

great looking ball all around, lots of looks from others as it tears down the lanes.wouldn't recommend it to a first time out bowler.great pin action, can be very aggressive and hits like a freight train at full speed.and I personally wouldn't give them up for anything else.I've tried different balls and liked them but none of them gave me all i wanted. makes a great impact upon entrance to the pocket some good some bad but hey thats part of bowling no matter what the ball is.only wish Storm would bring them back out.,

This was the 1st reactive ball that I ever purchased. I just finally got around to giving it a review. I have had the ball for just over 2 years now. I have had my highest game with this ball, 279. If your using this on a house shot to dry lanes, this ball is fantastic. It hits the pins hard. It is very easy to read. I generally shoot this ball from around the 2nd arrow, however if conditions dictate, I would not hesitate to move inside with this ball. I was sorry to find out that this ball was no longer made. A great Storm product. Keep up the great work STORM!

Very good ball. I can not say how many sets this ball saved by coming out of the bag the third game and giving me decent 240 games to save my series and league leading average. The house I mainly bowl at has a pyramid oil pattern. So if I can keep the ball at around the 4 to 5 board as it passes the arrows. I can just turn around after my release and grab a poker card for my strike and slap hands with my teammates. Plus it really pisses off everyone in the house. This is my first of 3 storm balls I own. I have a skybolt and a newly purchased eraser boost (undrilled so look for my review in a few days) this is one of the first of many great balls from one of the arguably best bowling companies.

This is the first ball I ever bought, and it has served me well. Usually I can carry light strikes with this ball. However, it doesn't take much turn to get this ball to the pocket. This ball works in all sorts of lane conditions as long as you know how to adjust. It hooks even through very heavy oil, and it's my favourite ball for light oil. Hitting the pocket only results in strikes, with the occassional 10 or 7 pin left standing. Hitting Brooklyn usually leaves the 5 pin. This is an overall great ball. It's too bad they dicontinued it!<scrip

This ball gets down the lane very easily with a extremely hard snap back to the pocket. Great for drilling for skid snap reactions and strong breakpoints. I was able to play in around the middle of the lane swinging to 7th board out to around 2 and the ball would skid through the front part of the lane even in the dry areas of the lane, when it reached the breakpoint it covered several boards back to the 1-3 pocket with plenty of energy. Very good for carrying light hits. Great ball for the $$$, it is discontinued, but if you can find one buy it while you can!
