Here I am again...and you have not purchased your 1st one. There is a reason Brian Kretzer used this ball and a retired STORM piece all season. This ball is that good and that's the bottom line! I rolled a 299 with my last one and since it's label free now, I opted to get a fresh one. I punched this one to nothing like the last one, no two balls are alike. This time I threw the pin above the ring with where the mass bias would be in the track. This one needs a lot more dry than my first HRG to get vicious and that's good. Same story though, HOLE CRUSHER.

Hits very hard, and is very predictable. Again, in medium to light oil. It's also forgiving for those of us who sometimes struggle with accuracy. It's so forgiving I shot my first 600+ series with a 221, 211, 230 right out of the box. Can't stress enough how Very predictable, and very forgiving it is in medium to light oil. Note: in light oil to dry lane conditions a little polish goes a long way. This may be what some of us may need to get it down a bit further. I tend to hook a lot on dryer conditions, so I drilled it with the pin close to the 7th layout of the 7 popular layouts (pin under fingers) for a more even arc.

i started with this ball and eventually got a x factor and put it away for awhile, when i decided to get it out again it had been dead but i didnt really put it away i guess i took with me but used it maybe couple times a week but now im tryin to get use to it a little more but the hittin power just is not there and its not have a constistent hook. i am thinking about maybe gettin another just to make sure and cause i loved the ball when it was in its prme im sure it would be a great tournament ball

this ball is a classic storm power line ball. it has great lane reation and excellent hitting power. i purcahsed this ball about 1 month ago and have raised my avg sevral pins to a 213. the house that i bowl at mostly has a 10-10 oil pattern and the ball works wonders there. i find that it has excellent reaction on medium lane condition. The only problem that i can find with it is the friction that it creates with the carrydown. I would definetly recommend this ball to anyone who wants to have more late lane reaction and wants storm quality hitting power. another graet ball storm

A very easy ball to control. Hits very hard like most all Storm balls do. An excellant skid flip ball without a huge amount of backend. This ball is good for someone who has a good release and can put some hand in the ball. I also just noticed the other day when I was polishing it that my ball doesn't have a single scratch on it, and I must have at least a 100 games on it. The Core Power HRG is an excellant ball for a variety of lane conditions and shots. I fell comfortable standing left of the middle dot and throwing over 2nd arrow. This ball rolls straight and true then snaps in the pocket and hits very hard. The sound of a high flush shot with this ball has a distinct loud sound. Awesome ball!!

Im a 16 year old lefty. I will from now on probably only drill storm balls, I find that they give me the best hitting pwer and overall reactions. The Core Power HRG is a great ball. This ball is great on a variety of lane conditions. It really finds the pocket well. It will react and flip a lot in the back, and like all storm balls hits hard. Sometimes if you swing it out too far, it won't have enough energy to come back and hit strong. Definitely a great ball for a wide variety of bowlers. Its a good ball if you can keep the ball inside 12. Everyone should get one of these, and it looks cool too!

Is there any reason not to like this ball? This piece is used on every condition I encounter EXCEPT for when the heads dry out. The only tweak you need is scotchbrite and polish. For the sport patterns, I lightly scuff the ball so that it comes back from the OB. However, on the house patterns I just polish it up to get enough length. For you layout junkies - Pin is above and between the fingers at 12 o'clock with the CG on the midline. So, that's ZERO side and 1/4 finger weight. If you cannot use this ball when there is carry down, out of bounds or anything resembling oil, JUST QUIT BOWLING! This ball just makes the pins leave the deck and your competition cry! So why a 9 you ask, there's always hope for something better to be released. Doubt it though! Glad to say 10 months later this ball is still bullying the pins around. Allot of balls have come and gone but she has been the truth. Might try a Pearl Eraser as a replacement but there are more HRG's in the shop.

Ball specs 15 lbs, 3.5 pin, & 4 oz top weight Drill Specs- Pin above bridge, Cg in grip center(High Rg-semi strong) I've been looking for a ball to back up my Tour Power when it starts breaking too early but stronger than my Too Hot and less sensitive to carry down. I've found it-definetly. The high Rg along with the high Rg drilling really help this ball get through the first 35 feet and then comes the readable mid lane and strong move to the pocket. The pins are still shivering on lanes 3 & 4. The only way it didn't strike was due to operator error. The reaction was consistant and I only moved 2 boards left on a 5 game practice set. Carry down only made me tighten up 2 boards right for 5 frames about midway through game 3. This ball covers as many boards as my Tour Power but with more length and backend and it is about 4 boards weaker than my Too Hot. Hope this helps and good luck too all.

Since each ball is unique to a point I will tell you about my ball. 1. Gross Weight 16LBS. 0 oz 2. Top weight 3.44 oz 3. Pin Placement 2.5-3 Inspected by #38 on 06062002 Gill Martinez of R&S Fresno/Clovis Drilled My Ball with a 4-4 setup somewhere between layout #2 and #3 See the Advanced Drilling Instruction Sheet. Storm made this ball with an RG of 2.61 this means the ball is on the High end of the RG scale. RG numbers range from 2.430 to 2.800, High RG numbers indicate that the balls mass is distributed more towards the cover, this promotes length and late recovery. Low RG numbers indicate that the balls mass is distributed more towards the center, which promotes an earlier roll. If your Core Power Rolls early get a new Pro and with a Flare potential of 6+ inches if your Core Power doesn’t hook hard and hit hard Get a new Pro My ball and all the ones I have seen seem to lack the quantity of gold coloring seen in the online photos this makes for a more subdued visual effect

The ball was drilled with the pin just below the ring finger and CG to the right with a balance hol. First time i played with, i thought this ball sucked. there wasent much oil on the lanes and it still dident hook. But it died along with the carrydown. Second time was on medium oil lanes just made. And it raised from its grave. while all the other players were opening the lane, i played a thight line without overreaction in the pins. that gave me the 2. highest score before the finals. The highest played same line with Monster Scream/R. Great ball for crancers and others who are looking for a ball that dosent overreact. If you cant produce the hook yourself, then stay away from this ball !!!!!!!
