all that i can say is that i have used this ball for two years at the house alley but when i go to a different town i have to change where i stand and mess with my approach i would take this one ball and give it to a youngster that is just now trying to learn all the techniques and other fundamentals of bowling with a reactive ball this is a good beginers ball as i have said earlier. many lanes dont have very good snap action for this ball so you have to play an outside in approach with this ball so if you need a beginers ball i recomend this ball.

Speed: Medium Revs: Medium-High Drilled this ball ball up with a lable drilling. Wanted to play around 10 - 6 with it. I threw some practice games with it and The lanes must have had some carry down on them because I was able to play about that 12-5 and be in the hole every time, then go throw it in league and I have to play 16-2 with it. It has good hit or "Big Hit" and good carry only one 10 pin all night. My only real regret is that I did not get one sooner, again it is a great ball for the price and I could have gotten 2 for the price I paid for my last ball. So if you are looking for a good medium ball for a low price don't count out the Big Hit Solid

I never thought i would ever find a ball that worked like my old black u-dot did 20 years ago, but i have with the big hit...and i am not a stroker. or old geezer either. Although strokers can also use this ball with good to great results, but if you put any turn , fingers, or revs on the ball....concider the high 1 o'clock drilling and keep the wieghts symetrical with the finger and side wieghts even so if you have 1/2 finger, make sure you have 1/2 pos. side, so it will have that even arcing roll, and strong hitting power

it would be a good ball for a youngster that needs to work on mechanics and if you dont like to put alot on the ball and dont throw very hard. This ball isnt for the cranker bowlers. i am a cranker and i change my whole bowling style when i use this. i have to slow down everything. if you do slow down your speed it will come up nicely. but it is kinda discurraging when you have to change your approch and everything for a ball. if you are looking to buy this ball for a child or someone with not much on the ball this would be a great ball for them.

Storm's Big Hit Solid is their newest entry into the low priced reactive market. The ball is designed for dry to light oil conditions, and thats absolutely all it is good for. The ball does not preform what so ever on any kind of oil, and has a very poor reaction during lane transition. If you are in search for a cheap ball for those burnt-out second shift league shots, or are looking to upgrade to your first reactive bowling ball, buy the Big Hit today. Otherwise I would advise you to purchase a different low-priced reactive from another company.

I drilled this ball with everything stacked in the track. I did not want anything that was to flippy or skid-snappy. This ball with this drilling is great for any of you big handed players looking for something you can get down the lane, but still have a bit more kick than urethane. Great for extreme wet-dry house shots, and burnt heads. A word of caution with this drilling. If you are a high track player, do not put the pin outside the track. The ball will flare backwards, which is not so bad, but everyone will think you are a full-roller when it flares over the thumb hole.

Nice beginner ball, or a spare ball. Hits nice in the pocket. I used it about a hundred games so far and still hits good. It is easy to control, especially hitting the 10 pin spare. It gets "scruffed up" easily. By the 3rd game it had 2 nice knicks in it. If you are starting out get this ball it is inexpensive and is good. Hooks good but doesn't snap too good. I enjoy using it when I'm house shooting but that's about it. Overall it is an OK ball. GET THE STORM BIG HIT, YEAH!

i bowl in a house that is changing the shot every week and with out the big hit i would have to pay for my bowling and put my balls back in the car and head home. the big hit give me chance to stay and not just roll a ball down the lane but, to get the ball to the pocket and run them out I roll track equipment down the lanes and carry a 200 ave.but the shot at this new house was kickin my (beep) and not takeing any names NOW WITH THE BIG HIT IN MY HAND I CAN KICK IT AND TAKE NAMES ON MY WAY OUT
