Super Sonic

(8 reviews) Write a Review
Roto Grip has broken the "Barrier" with the all new Super Sonic. This addition into the entry-level mid price market, shatters all the previous standards in performance. The Super Sonic's newly designed X-1 core creates the strongest mid-lane motion along with unparalleled backend reaction at this price point. Sure Grip II is the coverstock of choice for this high powered machine. This translates into traction, angle, and pin carry.

Great ball something unpredictable but in the end, as it constantly sticks in the center and leaves the 10 pine on many occasions, the beating is spectacular but there are other balls with the same impact that they have much more control and more logically make you raise your game, another negative point is that a ball is discontinued and hard to achieve today, I imagine that at the time this ball was a sensation but these days a twisted fury is much more complete than this ball, but if for some reason you have a these balls not get rid of it<s

i couldnt believe that my sister didnt really care for this ball. so i plugged it and drilled it up for myself. it reacts somewhat similar to my smokin' inferno, however, its a little more aggressive because i only have about 50 games on the super sonic compared to 500+ on the smokin. it seems like i can play any type of shot on the lane with this ball and it always reacts great fot me. it is extremely aggressive on the back ends and usually goes pretty long down the lane. and its one of those balls that just rolls real well on a synthetic surface. i think that this ball is a great complement to the smokin' inferno.

I have been looking for a medium-dry lane ball for some time now. And I must say I finally found it. I had this ball drilled to go long and break on the back end. This ball breaks harder on the back end than any ball I have in my bag. I did have to change my shot from cross the middle to down and in shot. But it certainly does the job! This completes my set of bowling balls. The first week, I was shooting in the 250's. I love this ball. Oh plus it's like cheap too!

I was looking for a ball on light oil conditions. It is my first roto- grip ball and I was surprised about the continous backend and the price I get this one. I can play it on different lanes (Wood or Synthetic) and the ball hits the pins like an tasmanian devil. If you hit the pocket on the right way, there is no chance for the corner pins to stay alive. Also many brooklyn strikes the ball made. I think this ball does what it was made for. Next ball I was looking for must be an Roto-Grip for medium oil conditions.

I bought this ball after wanting something to play straighter down the boards. Having a lot of revs it is hard for me to play down the board without hitting the 7 pin. I got this ball from my pro shop guy and drilled it the pin an inch above my ring ringer and the pin kicked out right of my center of grip. I got a great reaction out of the ball doing exactly what I wanted it to do. I got good length with clean back end and great hitting power. I was really surprised how good this ball was and the best part was that I only paid $90.00 after drilling. Great ball definitely satisfied.<scrip

This ball is what Roto-Grip says it is. It is the perfect ball for the conditions it is recommended for. This ball gets thru the heads with ease and with some back ends the ball makes the perfect angle to knock the pins over. I am very impressed with the hitting power of this ball. For the price every one should own one. Again this ball will not be for all conditions but if your a tournament bowler this balll will work later in the matches. Another thumbs up to Roto-Grip. And my hat is off to Hank and Boys/Girls for a job well done.

The Super Sonic fills the gap between the Sonic Boom and the Silver Streaks perfectly. We increased the amount of differential to .035 with the addition of a small side slug within the weight block. This creates better mid-lane read and continuation on the backend then the previous Sonics. The hit is tremendous as always with the Sonics. No compnay in the market has a line as strong as the Sonic Line from Roto Grip at this price point. The performance proven Sure Grip II cover stock gives us the desired footprint for this ball. It matches well on those light to medium oil patterns. This is a nice addition to an already exceptional line. Hank Boomershine President Roto Grip<
