I can stoke the ball, roll it, or crank it, so this ball I am very versitale with it as long as there is oil in the heads. I throw the ball aroun 17-18 MPH, with over 25 RPMs. My ball is drilled control with max side wieght whole drilled in it., 16lb, 3 inch pin. So far I have shot six 290+ games with this ball, 3 of them in tournament play. I see why the PBA banned this ball. It eats up the lanes. It makes me sad that I do not throw it in league play anymore, I actually miss it.<sc

Got this, ahem, gem from a friend who couldn't make it work himself. Ball was 16lb, 1 inch pin, 2.5 oz top weight. First Attempt - Drilled it stacked, pin over ring finger. I expected this ball to go long and snap, and well, that is what it did, sort of. It definitely went long, that's for sure, but just when It looked like it was going to hook, it just died. Second Attempt - Drilled it Pin, inch below ring finger, cg just left of the pin. With this drilling I expected the ball to start rolling early and just smoothly arc into the pocket. Wrong again. This ball never read the mid-lane and just kept going long just like it was drilled stacked the first time. I couldn't believe it. My older hammers that I had lying around would pick up and roll quicker than this thing. Thought maybe it was burning up so I went to my other houses and tried this on heavy oil with just more of the same, go far to long and never even attempt to come back at all. Third and Final attempt

best ball I have ever thrown. If you have trouble with carry then get this ball out because it will blow the pins away. I have had mine since 2002 and it has atleast 300 games on it. It still is the ball I rely on. It is one of those balls that if you dont get alot of hand behind it it will still hook and carry. I can honestly say that this ball carries more then my fear factor, shock trauma and my danger zone hpc combined. I still have to compare it to my XXX so that should be a good match up. The ball is drilled straight up. gggggggggggrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeaaaaaattttt bbbbbaaaaalllll

This is a great ball works on medium lanes it it hits the pocket hard and sends all 10 pins to the pit and this ball rolls up nicely. and it also has a nice break and smooth. This ball also has a predictable break you can tell when the ball ends it's skid and its roll. This ball is good for most house shots except those put down some house shots that are a little bit oily. The only thing is I bought this ball for sport shots and it turned out to be a good house shot ball.

I drilled the ball pin over with cg out 1/2". Ball gets through the heads well with plenty of back end reaction. Out the box the ball was great and hasn't stopped yet. If you are looking for a ball that will give you confidence, this is it. It is not over/under, I can count on it to turn the courner. As far as carry, No problem to this point, except for the occasional 9 pin. (right handed) Can drive too hard. If you can still get one I recommend it. Can't be slow with this one. Good-luck.<scrip

I bowl in a 4 game all men format. There are 80 bowlers, with over half carrying 200+ averages. The lanes dry up quick with all the high priced equipment and 2nd-3rd arrow shots. This ball will play all conditions. I move less than 3 boards max on a given day. I have thrown many 260+ games with it. Best of all, I take the boy and wife to cosmic late at night when the lanes are trashed, and it still reacts the same. I have owned Zone danger zone, ebonite gyros to matrix, from yellow dots to U-dots, hammers, Hpd, Storm, and more in 35 years. This ball will do what you expect it to do. Im very serious, and have 5 honor scores to show for it.<scri

I am a relatively new to the sport. I have been bowling for only 10 months now. I am constantly looking to learn new methods and techniques to make myself more versatile. I purchased this SD-73 through the internet, (1st time) with the hopes of finding a ball that would work great on todays sport conditions and heavy oil conditions. I was using a 3 step approach when I purchased this ball. I threw a few times for my local bowling ball professional and he recommended going to a 4 step approach as this ball requires power. I picked this up in about 4 games. He proceeded to drill the ball to hook early, as all my previous balls had been drilled to hook later. Well since using this ball all I can say is wow!!! This ball get through the oil like no ones business. Then flips hard to the pocket to just devistate the pins. This ball picks up pins that don't even look like anything touched them!! My scores have been increasing greatly. I am currently hold a 128 average. Weth this ball in my
