I'm a Brunswick/Inferno bowler, but I couldn't pass up the deal I received on this ball. In comparison with my "Inferno" Balls, this hits like a Ultimate with the snap of the Intense. Very happy so far. Normally I'm a 220 with the Ultimate, been averaging 230 with only the ball change. It's only been out a few games so I'll update later. I'm not an expert on drilling, but since the ball is a "ProPin" I stayed pretty close to the recommended layout offered by Storm. I chose to go with the more aggressive Layout #4. Pin is 5" from the CG and the major pin 1-1/2 from the PAP. Like previous reviews once it gets thru the oil, it will explode to the pocket.

I like it from the start ,threw 5 strike to start first game ended 227,second started 5 stikes for a 236, then the lanes broke down and I had trouble getting carry with it a couple time still shot 200. Not bad for first night 663 series, Ball is set up well for me right now I just hope that I can give it what it deserves, when I let it go, But it seems to be all that I hoped it would!!!! Pin placement was great, alot more apt to different drillings. 2.36 top weight and pro pin placement about 5 and a 1/4. me and my friend who owns a pro shop drilled it. he set it up the way I wanted and I drilled it. Very please with this ball!!!

Like the previous reviewer this ball is a pro pin ball ( pin is 5 1/2 inches from the cg ). I drilled this ball with my faxorite layout 4 1/2 inch pin from cg with the mass bias strong. I trew this ball out of the box finish on a variety of conditions and was very suprised by the amount of hook it had on oil with it being a particle pearl. Even dull got through the heads very clean. Polished it to be able to play on my friday shot as on that condition it was burning up some and not finishing real good. Hit it with some storm moon shine polish and it turned into a monster. . I have a secone one to drill but have not yet decided on the layout i want to put into it. In my humble opinion the reason the previous reviewers ball did not hookl as much as he expected was due to the layout of the ball

Got this ball Nov. 12, 2004 on eBay, the ball is indentical to the FEAR FACTOR as far as RG and Diff. go. But this ball is a Pearl Particle, I got it with a "Pro Pin" (6" to be exact), the CG is in the center of my grip and the pin is on PAP. This ball is excellent on medium oil, it's pin carry is a little different then most, for some reason I leave a lot more 7's then 10's. This ball just sits on it's intended line unitl it hits dry and then you can really see the ball rev up before it gets to the pocket.
