Danger Zone International 2

(2 reviews) Write a Review
The Brunswick International Series is designed to match-up to typically demanding international lane conditions. The Danger Zone II combines a Carbide / Low Load Particle coverstock with a low RG core system to create a big hooking, even arcing ball reaction. Designed for medium to heavy oil, the Danger Zone II tractions through amounts of oil that cause Reactive coverstock balls to hydroplane. This ability to traction enables the Danger Zone II to smooth out over/under reactions and to create hooking action in heavier amounts of oil that are unplayable with Reactive coverstock balls. The Danger Zone I & II create a complementary pair of ball reactions that will allow most bowlers to attack a wide range of lane condition environments.

Got this from a pro shop in Ohio, Ball Specs: 16lb 2 oz. 2-3 inch pin 2.4 oz top weight. Had it drilled Stacked, with the CG directly below the pin. This ball is meant for "International Lane Conditions" but it handles just as well on normal lane conditions, well, what I would call normal. Threw is on a typical house shot, 35 ft. Christmas tree. Oiled from 15-5, dry on the outside. I started off with this ball trying to put it in the oil, mainly 20-12 and the ball didn't really recover as much as I hoped for, maybe because of the stacked drilling, however, when I moved and tried 15-8 it really shined. It cleared the heads nicely and had a nice controllable arc in the back end. I also noticed that If I put a ton of hand in it I could throw the 20-12, but it didn't feel comfortable. However, This is by no means a dry lanes ball, on the few balls that I really missed my mark and put out in the dry, mainly on 4 it reved-up early in the dry and just take off like a ba

If your bowling on a heavy-medium lanes then this ball is great, but watch out for tugging the ball, it doesn't recover. Finding room inside or out is a must. In my opinion, this ball is very well on house shots but would be too jumpy for sport shots. Throwing this ball on a dry lane would be a killer. The ball tracks up a lot of dirt and oil, you must keep the ball clean or it will hook even more......odd combination. I also aquired a International Danger Zone 5 which I will also write a reply when I get to throw it.
