The Brunswick International Series is designed to match-up to typically more difficult International lane conditions and is available only through International distributors. The International Danger Zone 5 combines a modified version of the core system originally used on the Danger Zone Pro HPH, with the most Skid/Snap coverstock from the PowrKoil family, PowrKoil 21. The HPH core system, originally designed to match-up to the HPH’s high load Proactive coverstock, has been modified to create a high-RG core system for Reactive coverstock balls. A High-RG core will help push the balls hooking action further down lane creating a good match for typically drier and shorter International lane conditions. With its PowrKoil 21 coverstock, High Gloss factory finish and high-RG HPH core system the Danger Zone 5 will get down the lane on all but the driest of lane conditions saving plenty of ball reaction for the back-ends. This skid/snap combination of coverstock, finish and core will

I bought one of the International Danger Zone 5 bowling balls on eBay a couple of weeks ago. I've had trouble in tournaments after about game 7 (in a 12 game tournament or more) with my ball reaction. I get very little side turn with my release and have trouble when the lanes get really toasty. I can get deep inside and play the 20-25 board, but can't project the ball down the lane to the breakpoint because of the lack of side rotation. I won this ball on an online auction. The writeup on the drill sheet states that this ball is designed to match-up to typically more difficult international lane conditions. This ball has a modified Danger Zone HPH core, with the PowrKoil 21 coverstock. I used drill layout 2L on the Brunswick High-Differential symmetric core layout sheet. RG Max is 2.610 with this ball, RG Min is 2.564 for an average RG diff of 0.046. Average RG is 5.4. Layout 2L is for medium oil for maximum hook potential for high-RPM players.
