I originally bought this ball because i thought it would be a fairly good medium to dry ball. but i was surprised in the aggressiveness. Not disapointed at all though as I can adjust my other gear to fit. Don't be fooled! This ball isn't for a dry condition. My coach & boss 'Ashley Clark' is sponsored by this company (so he has a lowdown on all the gear, plus gets in contact with the company) & even the company are surprised in what the Sure Strike turned out to be. A good mistake? I don't care, because this ball is just awesome.

I was using a Columbia scout/r before this, and I must say, it was a huge improvement. They send you a drilling pattern when you order the ball, and i had it drilled for the "stacked" pattern", which is just a big back end. I am a low speed, medium rev bowler, and this ball is perfect. I bought this ball for $115 off of buddiesproshop.com, thinking it would be just a step up from my scout. It was a massive step, and pro shops could successfully push this for $200. I used to have a problem with 10 pins left standing, but not anymore. If i nail my mark, any pin left untouched is damn lucky. Get the correct drill, and this is a must have in any good bowler's arsenal.

lane masters is a small name per-say.. but this is not a small caliber ball by any stretch of the immignation. i would like to see lane masters be pushed a little more in my local shops and the like but i guess i am not in the position to make that decision at all. this is one ball, while in the hight of price curve, is above the curve in terms of controllability and hitting power. struggle with 1-0-pins.. this nugget struggles to leave a 10-pin. I honestly dont think that anyone would be disappointed in this orb at all.

I got the ball to see what Lane Masters had to offer. Best ball i bought. first time i threw the ball i got a 740 series with a 228,248,264.I was so impressed i am currently buying a Hornet to help me on the dry lanes. I am holding a 223 average in my majors league and this ball is the reason why. So if you are looking for a good all around ball look at the Sure Strike. Can not wait for the Counter Strike. But be careful with speed if you drop it just a little over hooks. Increase it a little it responds to late.

When the conditions are right, this ball is deadly. Too much oil and this ball slips past it's break point. Too dry and you really have to swing it. But in medium oil this ball sets up nicely and finishes very strong. You can tell right away during warm-up's if it's going to be a Sure Strike day. This is my first Lanemasters purchase and I'm impressed. The ball transitions well, and feels right coming off your hand. If I had to compare it to another ball, I's say it's like a Hammer Black Widow Pearl that is more predictable and smooth.

From the moment I threw this ball the first time, I knew I had a great ball. Bowling in a senior tournament, I watched as myself and three others led the tournament and we were all throwing this ball. The three of us led the field by better than 250 pins. The balls gave us something no one else had. The Bowlers Journal said the ball worked on all the PBA patterns, and so far I agree. This a phenomenal ball and sure to go down in history as one of the greatest, like the old black hammer. I have bowled two eight hundreds and one three hundred with this ball and all I can say is this ball makes me look good. When I throw this ball, I get a crowd watching me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KouK0nQjg2U I drilled this ball up with the pin 4 inch and the CG 3 1/2 inches from my PAP. I need a weight hole, and placed it on my PAP. This ball is the first of Lane Masters Inner Core/Outer Core balls. I was happy to see that Lane Masters is making a move to this technology. I tested this ball out of the box and 2000 Abralon. In the box finish this ball was super clean through the heads and reved up hard in the mid-lane. This ball revs up harder than any other ball from Lane Masters that I can remember. In the box condition, this ball tended to be a little squirty for our Heavy volume house shot, so then I sanded it with a 2000 Abralon pad. Wow, what a difference. This ball was able to give me more area and more recovery on our normal house pattern. Overall, this ball is a great addition to the Lane Masters line up, and I look forward to the next ball in the series, and hopefully a solid reactive version will come. It you have b

Bottom line is this is a very very good ball. I only paid $159.95 for the ball from my pro shop (including drilling, grips and slug) and it is definately the best ball in this price range I have ever purchased, hell it is one of the best balls I have purchased at any price. This ball played great on light medium, medium and medium heavy lane conditions. I was able to play outside and go up the boards, inside and open the lanes and most importantly, it did not roll out from the outside, nor lose hitting power from the inside. The versitality of this ball combined with the hitting power just makes this a very very good ball. I am tired of raving about this companies balls, but they just seem to keep making great balls, ball after ball after ball. Good Job Lane Masters.
